Does it say in their TOS that they have to legally pay you? If not, then you're fucked. But wait, it doesn't matter what it says, so you're owed money. You've just made an endless cycle argument that you can't win, phil.

Just because something is in a contract doesn't make it legally enforceable. South Park riffed on this with their Apple terms of service episode. Even if Phil signed a contract with Twitch that made him their slave it could never be enforced.

That being said, since Twitch is super careful not to equate bits with money they might be able to do some lawyer fuckery and get out of paying Phil for the cheering that people did in his chat.

EDIT: This is rich coming from Phil because I was recently re-listening to Tevin cover the 'ol Curse departnering and Lavaria (sp?) arc where DSP said they spelled some shit wrong and left his YT url out of the contract so it was unenforceable. But he was going to play along and get paid as long as it benefited him and only bring it to their attention if he wanted out of the contract.

I’m still reeling over Phil’s genuine frustration over how many “subs” refuse to subscribe to his Patreon.
Even if we ignore the fact that he hasn’t updated it in three years (but still siphoned money from the people who were subbed to it, how generous), is he forgetting that literal hundreds of his subs were given to him by a SINGLE PERSON?
I just can’t get enough of Phil pretending that his streams aren’t kept afloat by a handful of whales and are unwatchable to the average person.

Especially since he was dumb enough to be totally unprepared for getting his partnership yanked, and now he's afraid of finally losing his cushy lifestyle and having to let go of something, anything. This worry fries his brain, and he doesn't recognize the difference between having subs and having a herd of milking cows you can just move around wherever you need them to be.

Phil actually believes he is popular and has insane amounts of fans. He believes he is owed that amount. I believe before he was sure that subs will never end, and didn't care how someone got a sub since all he cared about was money. Now that that's gone he will slowly realise that he's fucked.

This is somewhat offtopic, but I find it relative to Phil and his "popularity".

A while ago Phil said he has hundreds of thousands of fans on Twitter, they are just afraid to comment because of us mental lot.
Phil thinks he has hundreds of thousands of fans because on Twitter you can see a thing called "Tweet activity" which shows you a thing called "Impressions". That tells you how many times your Tweet has been seen, and nothing else.

Twitter User A sees your tweet 5 times and Twitter User B sees your tweet 3 times, then your Twitter reach = 2 and your Twitter impressions = 8.

So Phil has high numbers because people refresh his Twitter often to troll him, see his crying Tweets, begging Tweets and autistic arguments with fans and trolls alike.

I went into this long ass comment because I wanted to point out that as with all other things related to Phil, it's always a small bunch of people boosting his ego, finances and joke of a career.
