even finding a construction company that is able and willing to do work out in the middle of nowhere like that is gonna be a challenge. drumming up enough money to pay for all that and get actual buildings up and running? looking at a lot of money there. i don't think they're capable of raising or handling that amount of money properly.

Best case scenario one of the leaders grabs Kanye Wests attention long enough to get a check and cashs it before his minders catch wind of it.
They still have the local government to contend with, I looked into these earth bag huts they want to construct.
Colorado currently doesn't have any building codes for them so the group is at the mercy of the local coding board to sign off on whatever they want to build. That includes water and waste disposal methods.

This should be fun to watch, but I won't get my hopes up of them achieving anything. The only reason the Tranch (aka Tenacious Unicorn Ranch) got off the ground is because they bought an workable actual ranch. This will be a Troonblynka (aka Sister Wood) situation where a bunch of lazy and ignorant people realize building weirdo cult compounds in inhospitable areas is expensive and hard. Land Back!
As of this writing, Black Hammer has liberated 200 ACRES of land in so-called "Colorado, USA", 10,000 ft above sea level, lush and fertile! Our comrades who had the chance to visit the land sang only praises of the land-how the land is perfect to build our eco-friendly and durable earthbag homes, the beautiful rivers and streams that pass through it, and the amazing flora and fauna we will be living in community with.
This was not an individual effort though. From those who donated a dollar and shared this page on their Facebook, to the comrades who led the planning of Hammer City and scouted the land- we are all responsible for this victory. Hammer City would not be possible without the unity and support of the colonized masses worldwide.
Our work does not here comrades. We must keep on fundraising so we can build earthbag homes (each costing around $5000), permaculture systems, waste management systems. Please continue to donate and share. Let your friends and family know of this amazing feat you have helped achieve. We are close to reaching the $70,000 mark for the Build Hammer City fundraiser and we will need your help for that.

Looking at this lot, no, I think we should have another go at it.
There's never going to be anything even close to the Tranch up there. The best they can hope to keep is goats. Perhaps they manage to set up a camp for the summer, but in winter at 10000 feet they'll be back in their city apartments before you can spell 'blizzard'.
Edit: sudden thought: they could use the surplus alpaca shit from the Tranch to build huts with.

How well would sandbags (as both structure and insulation) perform at 10,000ft?

From what i understand bagged earth stuff actually works pretty well all around. However, like anything, its very dependent on actually being built right.

The bags are just filled with local soil so elevation won't really effect the bags, the real thing they would need to worry about is the concrete bases and Adobe exterior in the winter conditions.

depends on what you fill them with, can be pretty good isolation, and structurally they're pretty solid overall
id be more concerned about how long-lasting the bags actually are. usually sandbags are used for short term barricades, not buildings that are supposed to last years and decades. eventually the bag itself will rot away, or get torn open by outside forces, and once that happens the sand leaks out. if that happens to enough bags in your building, it will probably collapse.
