I’m of the same mind. Except I do buy plastic crap, though not blindly, never to excess and I never do it if I’m not financially stable. Power levelling a bit here but I’d prefer to differentiate my form of collecting from Kevin’s. I’d like to think other collectors do this as well rather than blindly lick up Hasbro’s coom.

When I buy a figure, I consider the engineering, accessories, deco, actual character bio and where it’ll fit on my shelf. Each one is an informed choice to add to some dumb hobby that breaks up the wage cage misery.

Seeing Kevin’s shelf is kinda gross, no rhyme or reason, expensive MP figures next to CHUG figures, all from different eras. Blind consumption for the sake of consooming.

Wedge's FFS is going to be an amazing story arc. Troon facial surgeries usually end up as either 'ape wearing woman's ill-fitting skin' (visible seams included) or else so mild it's hard to tell which is the before pic. Hailey already looks vaguely retarded and half-formed, it's not going to be improved when they grind down 50% of his jawbone, or give him a miniature button nose.
