Here's my personal philosophy on things like this. When I consoom, I buy things for what they can do for me, not as potential investments, because more often than not that doesn't work out. Kevin probably has that same mindset. I'm not buying hundreds of dollars of plastic crap like he is, but I never buy anything with the intention of sitting on it and selling it for more money down the line, that's just not how I approach consumer goods. I make investments with other things, but if I'm buying gun or video games or the other things I'm into that I won't PL right now, it's for what I can get out of them as a user, not as investments.
