Last time I went there it wasn't available, so I've come to depend on other's deeming something worth saving. Is it back up? Maybe. Kinda too uninspired to go look, but if my apathy has annoyed someone, it's a good day.

I had to take a survey the other day, and it asked if I'd consider getting the vaccine, if it would keep my loved ones safe. And of course, the empathetic human in me was like, "Maybe I should get vaccinated... Maybe it is the responsible thing to do." And then I remembered that it's not about getting a shot, and being sick for three days vs letting my friend's grandma die. It's about the whole host of unknown risks the shot brings vs friend's grandma dying. Sure, saving grandma is great, but we don't even know what balance we're weighing that against yet. We may not know for a couple years. So I don't think it's irresponsible to sit it out.
I would put literal money down that even once the FDA approves Pfizer, people still won’t get it. They won’t fucking get it three years down the line. I trust the decades of work done on the mRNA delivery system that the COVID vaccine uses over letting loved ones die.
I dunno dude. All my loved ones are either vaccinated or have made the choice not to be vaccinated. I don't feel responsible for them anymore.

There was a Vox article from last week which kept springing up in my timeline: the bogus article claimed pets are responsible for climate change, and that westerners should get rid of their dogs and cats to save the planet. The tweet was heavily ratioed from what I remember with the majority of the comments telling Vox to fuck off.

Too late, there have already been dogs that have been put down because of the mere potential that they could be a carrier for the virus. This happened around April or so of last year. Then again, it was just a few cases so maybe some will go to that extreme while others will tell big daddy gov'ment to piss off.
