L O fuckin L. They used those half-assed snapshots of Penny wearing the tees amid piles of crap as their product shots.

Kiwis that speculated Kevin helped design that shirt were wildly optimistic it turns out.

What bugs me the most is the inconsistency. One of these is a selfie which is terrible to showcase product, you want a nice frontal shot of someone wearing it...which is what the anarchy alpaca shirt's pic contains. Why not just do that for both? It's not like there just wasn't anybody around to take a quick picture of Penny wearing that logo shirt from the front. Kevin's always there and I'm sure even he can spare the 30 seconds it takes to do this. For fuck's sake. They can't do anything right.

Their product descriptions and titles are an inconsistent mess. You can go check for yourself, this title where they couldn't even pick between "percent" and "%" is a perfect example of what I mean

Btw, can someone who knows more about yarn than me explain what "4z" is supposed to mean/confirm that it doesn't mean anything (I assume they were trying to say it's #4 ie medium/worsted weight yarn)?

I know next to nothing about yarn or fabrics in general but from what I can tell 4z is probably supposed to be 4 oz, I assume referring to a 4 ounce skein of yarn.

This is one of my areas for knowledgeable sperging, so I'm going for it. The essential garment shot is a flat, which is what they are trying to do by holding it up. The next most important is a full frontal on a model and then third is a three-quarter to show more of the garment shape.
  • 3/4 profile selfie is unnecessary for a graphic tee, as 1/4 of the visual is lost. The reason you would incorporate it is if you want to show a full styled outfit, just to add a bit of variety. Piles of garbage do not count as styling Penny!
  • Inconsistency as you mention. One item is front shot, One is three-quarter, and a third now posted below has no model shot at all. The third t-shirt really only shows the graphic and none of the actual shirt. They've shot the flats in 3 different locations, judging by the varied background trash.
  • The attempts at flat shots are tragic because they've chosen to have Penny hold them. First, holding them in that way distorts the fabric (neckline and sleeves have disappeared), so there's no image where you see the actual shape of the t-shirt. Second, hands generally photograph like shit unless you're a pro at posing. Third, do you really want your new product to be fingered by grubby farmers' hands? Fourth, more visual clutter.
  • A better solution for the flat shots would be to lay the garments on a plain, clean surface (I know, I know), and photograph from above.
  • The model shots: Penny's hair is partially covering the graphic in both shots. It should be tied back or tucked behind the shoulders.
  • In the Anarchopaca shirt shots, they've cropped across the centre of his eyes which is a weird choice. Ideally the full face would be included or cropped out altogether. That's not an ugly joke, it's common in ecommerce to crop a model's face because it's cheaper to book a model for body-only work.
  • Pleasantly surprising that the tees in the model shots aren't visibly creased, but in the flat shots the shirts have clearly come straight out of the pack. They should be pressed or steamed.
  • They seem to have used decent quality shirts but they haven't clearly shown the label or named the brand. Silly because it adds value. What we can see looks familiar but I can't place it. Edit: think it's Gildan.
To be fair, this seems like a solo effort by Penny and he seems to have quite a lot on his plate, but at the same time it would cost maybe $150 to get these done properly, and probably free for vulnerable transfemmes in 'need'. Seems that just like ranching they think there's no difference between what a professional would do, and what they can achieve through the power of queerness.

ETA the third t-shirt. Have they ever mentioned 'our mascot, L'il Sebastian' before?

Well, it looks better than Greer's website. And it's not a mess of troon flags, alpaca pics, gun pics, and awkward photos of themselves that I was expecting.

However, it's still bland and campy looking.

Any non-sped woman running an Etsy shop would be mortified at publishing pictures of themselves and their home looking like this.

But the Tranch, also being true "you can't tell the difference" "we ordered men's shirts only" women, does not care about these details. It is unusual, I wonder what the difference between them could be???

We don't know where Hammer Time is located. There is a theory that they're just squatting BLM land and might just be straight scamming.
They probably saw "BLM" and thought the land was the property of a certain racial activist movement, and thus their property to squat on by default.

Photo dump time. Look at the difference between their and their neighbors land. :story:
We could see the difference from space, but it's even more drastic on the ground. Their brown desert shithole was at one point a delicate pale green grassland. They don't even ignore how they're destroying the ecosystem. They bold-faced lie about rehabilitating it. The broke ass truck will likely never move from that spot and those Great Pyrenees are doing a great job guarding the flock from outside the field and paddocks.

These people are such fucking assholes.
