Most of those Twitter accounts look like they only live and interact with just their own (accepted) followers on the Internet. The bios just look like random generator that was automated to look human.

I agree. In a way, it's horrifying how these types of people have become not only mainstream, but they also hold positions of power. I used to think, "It's just a stupid social trend. It will go away soon!" However, that hasn't happened. It's not going away. The people pushing this shit double down on it at every opportunity. I forgot who said it on this thread, but someone pointed out how SJWs are immune to being called out on their hypocrisy. Many of them KNOW they're hypocrites. The problem is that they don't care. It's hard to change the minds of people who never think about anything in any capacity. They simply rationalize their hypocrisy as the awful "right side of history."

It's also pre-designed to make it impossible to reverse a company or person's support of them. "We're ANTI RACIST. What, you want to stop donating to our causes and stop letting us turn your company into an activist organization that doesn't do any real work? WE'RE ANTI RACIST IF YOU'RE ANTI ANTI RACIST THAT MAKES YOU RACIST."

The good point is market forces will handle some of this. Companies that aren't wasting 80% of their time on wokeshit will be out competed by companies that do. The bad point is the Government is immune to market forces (especially once they start deciding to rig elections), as are certain industries due to cartel behavior (media, big tech, etc) so...

Interesting times.

I don't disagree about the social justice nutcases increasingly holding more and more positions of power. However, the root cause of why they are enabled to do so has been the adoption by a very large number of companies of Environmental, Social and Governance(ESG).

Moderates and the non-insane Left side of the political spectrum have shrugged their shoulders over this effective takeover of large numbers of US corporations and organizations with these ESGs.

The Right has completely failed in mounting any sort of effective pushback. And instead waste their time getting in twitter spats with low hanging fruit in companies or complaining about mid-level to senior people like Kathleen Kennedy. It is as futile as trying to purify a stream while upstream there is a pipe continuing to dump waste into the stream.

The Left have spent some sixty years building up gargantuan ideological infrastructure where they have established themselves as the default common sense positions: anti-racist, anti-sexist, etc. And anyone who raises their voice in opposition are immediately starting off having to defend against being labeled racist, sexist, etc.

Some sixty years ago the Left started their Long March Through The Institutions starting with the universities. Those people then moved into the media. And now over the past decade into social media.

CEOs are completely and utterly surrounded by the fruits of this sixty years worth of work the Left has spent building. Any pathetic attempts by the Right to counterbalance this social justice tsunami is treated as nothing more than racism/sexism from old white males. The Right has no Narrative to be on the offensive with. They are forced to continually fight on the defensive.

The Right continues to think they can get away with being lazy and just fight back with memes, pointing out hypocrisy, or Facts and Logic(tm). Nor does attacking anything downstream from these ESG controlled companies. Any woke nutcases who actually do manage to be fired will be replaced in the near or long term by someone equally toxic.

Was that actually true on the ground though? I have the impression 90s/2000s color blindness was mainly a TV thing, probably some kind of attempted social engineering.
