Likely going to get blasted for this by far more dedicated gun spergs, but their lack of skill with any given weapon pales in comparison to their weapon selections. Almost everything I've seen them buy are ARs chambered to 5.56, which means that optimistically, their max effective range is about 550 meters. This means in the wide-ass open terrain they're in, some fag with a WW1 era M1903 Springfield has over double their max effective range for a point target. This range difference may not sound like much, but keep in mind that they have literal zero cover and concealment between them and where "Earl" would likely set up. Were I "Earl," I'd buy the cheapest 30.06 rifle I could afford, a good tripod and scope, and then I'd find the point which had the biggest ODA between me and them. They have absolute zip to counter this, and if they did, they'd set it up in one of the windows of the tranch, which you could easily monitor.
If I was Earl++ with scary uber Nazi weaponry (anything I wanted that the US army had), I'd likely get to whatever good SBF position they have around their little hovel (they have a lot of these) and then go full cyclic on them with a M240b.
