AFAIK doctors only give O+ when they don't know blood type for sure outside of whether positive or negative, since if you're positive it won't be rejected. But like I said upthread, Kelly is a frequent flyer and infamous waster of medical resources, as in a fuck ton of blood, so there's no way in hell they don't have her blood type on record.

I haven't read all the stuff that makes her a cow yet so it seems like a pretty sad story on the surface. Ballet dancer gets her legs amputated.

Not really. She claimed at one point she was trafficked away at age 15 to be a prostitute WITH her sister; that's proof enough to me that like Marissa Morris, Kelly was probably always a mentally ill problem child who made up wild tales for attention that embarrassed and endangered the family.

The parents and the sister do show up when Kelly is or seems to be dire medical straits. But she's called wolf up until now. So for now I will assume that the family is around because they are genuinely worried for her. But it says a lot that Kelly's single medical contact in hospital is her fellow munchie roommate, and not her mom or sister.

The family situation is weird.

Kelly and Gina have at least five other siblings. While it seems like some were/are in contact with her on social media and Kelly maintains she loves them, etc, I have seen none of them visit her at any point and she mentions them very rarely, if at all. The only one that has a consistent presence in her life (although much reduced vs what it was) is Gina.

Similarly, the parents are both alive and although Kelly has said she didn't have the best relationship with her mother in the past, she claims they are now in contact and the relationship is much improved. She also claims her father is supportive and great, etc. Obviously, the question then becomes... If her parents are so great and supportive... Where are they? Not a peep about them, at all. No pictures of their visits, or at least messages or mentions that they were there, etc. Also, she's been in all sorts of facilities/assisted living for most of her adult life... Why? Why couldn't she have been in the care of a parent or at least staying with them? Her entire family seems completely absent, and if I didn't know any better, I would assume they're super shitty. BUT... I think there's something there that either she hasn't spoken about or I just didn't manage to read that far into her insta posts (honestly, reading them is super depressing).

Same, never seen a scalp IV in adult medicine. Understandable that they couldn't find a good superficial arm vein on Kelly, with her shit vasculature, swollen limbs and self-harm scars. But they couldn't have an anesthetist place a deeper IV with ultrasound guidance? That's usually what we do.

But if the head IV works, it works (and makes for a nice instagram pic I suppose)

Would you really want to give her something deeper and more invasive to fuck with/express blood from? I suspect the scalp IV is because it will be the hardest and lowest "reward" if she fucks with it.
