So, while I'm not discounting the lassie perhaps being an attention seeking, mentally unstable fecker, could be there is another angle to this. There's this thing where people want to be disabled, think body dysphoria, but instead of thinking you're in the wrong body, you've got too many limbs or some whacky shit like that. I'm not sure the pain she'd be going through with attacking the legs, slashing and cutting herself would payout in attention unless there was some sort of end goal here, to make it all worth while. Could be the self inflicting of wounds might stop after the legs get/got the lop due to her being in 'her' body and getting the attention an actual disabled bastard would get.

Could very well being viewing this too deeply, much like how we've seen the inside of her leg, deep, but crazy does come in many different flavours and colours.

I've noticed that Kelly types in a really uneducated, kind of retarded sort of manner in the earlier posts on this thread. Her other family relation Marina that posted seems to write somewhat poorly as well, and isn't too bright. I saw that Marina is a high school graduate only, who works as a bartender. Did Kelly go to college at all? Graduate high school? I'm assuming it's a no for all of that. What do her parents/Gina do for employment?

Imagine being related to this person. Imagine being this person's parents or supposed twin sister. Every day you wake up to live life and remember the ugly and disgusting reality that you have a family member that is actively in the process of mangling their body deliberately. What the fuck happened to this person to make them become this?

Her doctors and surgeons must be disgusted and horrified by her. I wonder what the person who chopped off her limbs thought. I am curious if Kelly notices that the medical professionals know she is a mentally-deranged freak and that she's doing it to herself.

Will Kelly will be happy living the life of a wheelchair-bound person? Is she capable of feeling regret for what she has done? Going from being able to stand and walk to having missing limbs is an astounding difference in lifestyle and abilities.

We need to bring back mental institutions. The limitations on mental health lock-ups being "only for a little bit" or "only while the person is actively threatening or performing self-harm and Kelly's doesn't count" is fucking ridiculous.

This thread getting featured was the worst thing for it. The newbies on here are almost as bad as the r/illnessfakers and r/munchsnark moralfags. Stop with the armchair diagnoses folks, the only thing wrong with Kelly is BPD, factitious disorder imposed on self (formerly known as munchausens, hence munchie) and self-induced sepsis that was a long time coming. Read the highlights and feel sorry for no-one but the people who actually did watch the leg hole video and lost their appetite and the folks who have been following Kelly for a long time and have to put up with all of this.

Out of curiosity I did venture down to the kellyposts on reddit and they've decided Kelly is not a munchie, never faked anything and has dermatillomania. Because if you munch yourself into being getting your legs chopped then suddenly that's proof that you can't have possibly faked anything. When Kelly regains her finger permissions back she's gonna scroll through them all and revel in the sweet sweet pity and attention. And then she'll rip off the scab forming on her lip and we'll be in the new arc of self harm because Kelly has regular munchausens and prefers the medical attention to the online infamy from fluffy sweater "munchausen's by internet" type. Anemia, Uterus fibroids, MS, Bechts, Anorexia, a mysterious ailment that makes her root canal fall out, a mysterious ailment that makes parts of her mouth go randomly numb, a history of sex work, 2 pregnancies, a still birth and perplexingly, 2 abortions, bruises on her legs that were from her abusive ex that transformed into holes that magically became infected with fecal matter, PTSD, anxiety, a cult stalking her and forcing her to eat and fuck dogs, a secret language with her twin, 3 different birthdays, a BFF who is a hacker to take us and lolcow down, a mysterious ailment that can turn headaches into tumours at any time, has had syringes mailed to her house still wrapped in her hospitals packaging, her accounts hacked at least 4 times, fake medical documents leaked and a condition where she couldn’t pee or maybe the abusive nurses wouldn’t let her? That storyline was unclear and dropped quick.

I don’t think we ever found out for sure but I’m nearly certain the burns on her hands were from gripping a curling iron or hair straightener so I always kind of thought the holes in her legs may be from the tip of that if it was a thin version.

Picking is also known as excoriation disorder (formerly dermatillomania), which people who are not necessarily autistic or stupid or even munchies can develop. It's almost the same thing as trichotillomania (compulsively pulling out hair leading to baldness), which is something that Shoe0nHead does. I knew a girl in middle school who wasn't stupid, but disgustingly started picking at her arm skin publicly out of nowhere for months and had huge purple rashy pockmarks on her upper arms. She managed to get reigned in when they got infected and she had to go to the doctor. They healed up and she didn't do it again. I don't know what triggered the behavior for her.

While lots of munchies seem to engage in skin-picking, excoriation disorder by itself seems to develop due to several mental health issues, and is very difficult to treat if not stopped early, because it's a combination of self-harm and OCD. DBT therapy is more effective than CBT therapy.

I'm wonder which came first in Kelly's case: skin-picking or munchiedom? She is certainly a complex headcase, and I can see how compulsive self-harm for munchie attention and compulsive skin-picking is along the exact same lines.

Munching by far. Also, I don't believe for a second her munching is compulsive. She does it because she wants to, she has found a reliable way to get a constant stream of attention. She wasn't compulsively bloodletting back in the auto-exsanguination arc, that was a conscious and collected choice on her part. When she had to stop that it was trial and error until she found something that worked and burning herself then picking off the scabs until she had windows through her tibiae was for attention. Not for autism, not for anxiety, not for compulsion, for attention because it's the only way she knows how to get some.
