There's nothing wrong with sucking at video games. It literally doesn't matter. Its when you spout off about being one of the best gamers in the country and claim to be able to play any game at a professional level that it becomes notable if you suck at video games. If he wasn't constantly blaming the game developers, controllers, lag, etc.. no one would give him shit or care how much he sucks at video games.

It's pretty much a fact that it doesn't matter if you're shit at video games or not, for sure. I recall old Youtube Phil back in 2013 being so pissy that everybody was dogging on him for being shit at MGS2. The part that went way over his head was why people were roasting his ass so much about it. Nobody (unless they're autistic) is gonna crucify you for getting spotted and sparking an alert during your first playthrough of a Metal Gear game. That's part of the learning process of how that whole game functions. You can't really fault someone for screwing up that way. You don't start off being gud, you git gud.

It was the shit like Phil whining "How do I use my rations?!" when the game plasters, clear as fucking day, "Press O to use." on the item description of the rations in-game, perfect English, big letters. When the player fucks up like that, then it's more understandable to think that they're blind, retarded, or both. It's no longer a matter of fucking up at a video game. It's fucking up at basic instructions that you could expect an 8 year old to understand.

That's just one example of "Phil hates the song" followed by extreme clownmode antics. But many others spring to mind: He shat on Cyberpunk's soundtrack. Not just on the bgm, but the original, very fitting for the setting, really well written Samurai songs. He called Black Dog, a song about a tortured man walking off to his death and martyrization for his cause, a "Very generic-sounding 90's song." It relates to the protagonists on two levels and it's a pretty okay song on it's own right, but this whooshed over Phil's oily mat. I'm starting to see a trend where Phil just dislikes cool, attractive rogue hero types regardless of gender. In a few months we'll start seeing him advocate ugly, plain and boring people as videogame heroes, screenshot this post.

He shat on Tekken 7's soundtrack when he played it. To be fair, it is kind of shit, but he also didn't use the Jukebox feature to slap older, much better Tekken music over it in spite of playing on PS4. He shat on most of the pretty well received SFV soundtrack, Ed's theme in particular for having lyrics.

He does, however, reliably praise and OHOHHOHOOOO LALALALAAAA-along with orchestral soundtracks. I personally find them cute the first time then quickly annoying, specially when they're as repeated as they are in the average JRPG affair. There's a reason funny abominations like Tidus Fantasy X come to happen. NieR Replicant in particular recycles tracks very dilligently. I've heard that ominous deep latin chant a million times and Kainé: Salvation another ten or twenty thousand just in the intermittent dives I've done of Phil's playthrough. He also makes a point of praising universally acclaimed soundtracks like Persona 5's. But yeah, it's just some bottom of the barrel twitch acting by Phil. He straight up said he liked "Club music like this" during Father Nier's segment the other day, when during Cyberpunk he said "I can't stand club music". As the pig himself would say, you can't have it both ways.

TL;DR: Phil's fucking boring and doesn't even like any sort of music, but he WILL claim to like whatever's popular in a "How do you do, fellow gamers?" way.

It's pretty apparant that Kat is on the spectrum. I'm not even saying that to be mean or anything. It's actually what makes me feel really sorry for her - she isn't a (provably) bad person and I think she got blindsided into marrying Phil in order to take 50% of the flack for his debts.

To think that simply being a trustworthy individual and saying "Yes, if Paypal has that information, I get it when you tip me, but I would never do anything with it." with the honesty to back that statement up would have spared D.S.P. all this.

Sometimes I wish we could send someone into D.S.P.'s body - yes, I know, a cruel fate - all the way back in 2010 or so and see where they can take it from there. How much better they could be seen, how legitimately successful they could be.

Meanwhile trustworthy most real guy on the internet DSP spends weeks saying he doesn't get your info at all, and through his lies about even getting it shows why he's an untrustworthy bastard who you wouldn't want to have your information in the first place.

What's worse is that that was Phil from almost a decade ago, and he couldn't be bothered to pay attention even back then. That, or he was trying, but his brain just doesn't have the horsepower even at full throttle.

Really puts into perspective just how the dumb motherfucker could possibly keep getting his ass kicked by Sean in Third Strike after all these years of being a supposedly dedicated fighting game player.

It really is curious how feeeeemales seem to be able to pierce right through his defenses. Makes you wonder just what is going on in that marriage. Puritan Phil is a very thin facade over Degenerate Dave.

It is indeed interesting, especially since, by all appearances, you would expect that Phil has no sex drive left.

Unless, of course, his perverse nature has nothing to do with libido and everything to do with a lack of maturity.

Boogie is the prime example of that. His dream job, cash and attention. It wasn't enough incentive to work on fixing his hedonistic, manipulative, lying ass.

Question is: Is it because of what his addiction does to him? Does he really feel pain from the knowledge of being a gacha fiend? He obviously KNOWS, he wouldn't have done his bit of coping not too long ago if he didn't. But does he hate himself for being an addict?

I'm doubtful, because he loves his awful personality. That's very obvious, from the fact that he would rather have the worst rep ever than fix the bad traits that secured it. I called him basically a crackhead yesterday, but that's not really accurate because a lot of crackheads say that when they smoke crack, they hate themselves. Phil doesn't show any signs of hating that he has such issues as he does. He doesn't display evidence of struggling with his compulsion to flex or anything like that. He likes who he is, and hates that the world punishes him for it. That is probably what makes him miserable, more than anything.

I agree, money at the end of the day is just a number. An important number, but just one. Real happiness and growth takes time, effort, and commitment. All things that lazy people like Phil lack. But some people never learn, primarily because they don't want to. You really want to be in the top 3% if you had to psychologically torture yourself like him?

With DSP making $7401 in the last TWO weeks from going into beg DEFCON 3 mode he is on track to make ~170k+ this year from tips alone. I doubt his pigs can keep up with this insane pace for the entire year. However, if I have learned one thing from DSP is to never underestimate how pathetic and or loaded his simps are. However, the rollercoaster beg intensity is going to be insane for the next year.

i think its just simpler and that he is such an extreme narcissist that he feels pain whenever he remembers that other people exist and occasionally do things other than defer to him. he genuinely thinks he is smarter and more capable than professional gamers, world leaders, world class chefs, political theorists, every other streamer, famous game devs, epidemologists, financial planners, nutritionists, anyone who has ever disagreed with him, nurses, crisis interventionists, judges, celebrities and every person who has ever clicked on his stream.

he probably doesnt see the gambling as an issue because the only people who have felt the negative financial impact are his pay pigs so far.

I wouldn't say that. I'm not going to powerlevel here but let's just say at DSP's age $7000 in a week or so isn't that much. It sounds like a lot if you're poor or young without any investments or career, but it's really not.
