How many money he gave dsp in the past month? I remember multiple 100 dollars?
IIRC more than one tips goal was reached because of this fag. Glad to know that he's going away, hopefully he'll grow a brain in the meantime and find something better to dump his money on.

But this is an interesting thing to see. It shows how unreliable Phil's earnings are. If 3 whales of his go away, be it because they died, became wiser, found a gf/bf or whatever, Phil gets instantly fucked.

I'm not holding my breath here because I'm sure Phil can milk his paypigs for some years. But the pig is slowly but surely bleeding.

Phil isn't looking too good lately

Oof. I bet daddy is going to take away the feces covered remote control now.
Is this a reference to the kid from those fake-ass freak out videos that went viral years ago? Because if not, I don't get the joke.

Even when he focuses entirely on his head, Phil cannot hide the fact that he clearly only weighs less than he used to because all of his muscle mass is gone. Everything left hanging off his bones is all floppy and loose.

And gotta love the way he reacts to any suggestion of raising the difficulty with a terrified expression.
The weather is currently disturbing Dave's gaming experience. He wanted it dark for his 'spooky game experience'. He then proceeds to go to his window and tell the sun to fuck off. He stops the game and reads his tips. Off to a good start already. Fucking buffoon.
It would be funny if he wasn't known for acting like a fucking alien, or said goofy shit for the entertainment of his audience, instead of simply because he's a weirdo shut-in who probably meant that shit.
So, he rolls in with what little precieved power he mistakenly thinks he has, and draws attention to himself because it's necessary for his ego.
Total mystery how Phil attracts such shitty people...

No matter how much money Phil makes, and for all the claims of him being "invincible", you can always count on him to have a hilarious panic attack at the first inkling of trouble.
This is just more concrete evidence that he doesn't save money. At all. Not even for a day. He literally spends his entire tips income before he goes to bed at 3am, and expects to just make it all back the next day. If he doesn't, he panics. And since we know he's a gambling addict, it isn't hard to see how this is possible.

Phil is sweating lately because now his tips aren't extra money anymore, he has no choice but to set some of it aside to pay for actual bills. Not only does this piss him off, but it worries him because he knows damn good and well how shit he is at pulling that off.
It's not even like he has a choice to save money, he's mentally incapable of it, and the paypigs have been enabling and reinforcing this behavior for years.

The only way he's going to survive this is if he finds another way to get that steady monthly paycheck, or has successful save-the-house begathons each month. When he says its "make or break" marathon, it really is because he'll have blown everything he made up until that point and if the whales don't step up, he'll default on his mortgage.

This is all because he missed the Tips goal for like 2 days in a row. His viewers almost hit the damn thing too, pulling in like $158 one time. But the Pokemon Snap stream only pulling in like $40 ("only", ha) really caused him to sweat.
And because he's so out of touch with his own viewerbase, Phil thought that the sky was falling at the first sign of the money faucet failing and so has to pull an "emergency" stream, even though he's pulled in $7.5k in less than a month.

I'm over being "mad" at anything related to DSP and money, but isn't it insane that he could only get HALF the tips goal in EVERY stream for the rest of the month ($100/stream, $200/day, 6 days/week) and still make $10,000 this month?

So even if a bunch of whales were netted up and the next two weeks were for some reason a financial disaster, Phil would still on a pace to earn what he did last year. And if it continues the way it's going, that's $15,000 in income for the four weeks since he lost partnership, earning at pace to make $180,000 in a year.

For being an asshole and badly playing video games.

I once again state that I cannot fathom how someone could "earn" the amount of money per month that he does, and squander it away on things that aren't outwardly visible. He wears the same old grubby, stained clothes. He eats the same old cheap fast food. He's using the same old potato laptop. He's snorting into the same old mic.

What exactly is his take-home pay after he's shelled out for the usual stuff (bills/debts/mortgage/taxes/etc)? Is his house, beyond his crusty little awhffice, an interior designer's wet dream? Is Kat showered with luxury goods? Does Jasper eat foie gras for dinner?

I just don't get it. I really don't.

That's why the whole WWE Champions thing makes a ton of sense. It's a black hole of spending that provides the puzzle piece of spent money with no outward results.

But has it been proven, or atleast calculated approximately, that he is actually spending ~$100,000 a year on soft-core musclemen pics?
How can any human being with any modicum of sanity ever justify that? Ok, Phil is a dick but he's not insane.

Its well documented in his bankruptcy application. He spends about $5000/mo on personal shit (mortgage, food, utilities, etc). He spends another $5000/mo on unspecified "business expenses". Which, he has never elaborated on what that is, given that he appears to spend no money at all on his business. It was also revealed that he has zero money saved and racked up $140K in unsecured debt.

Answer: he's a gambling addict and throws money away on mobile game "microtransactions" on a daily basis, and writes off that spending as "business related".

I found another whaled out account on a different mobile game (Marvel: Future Fight, which is no longer up), so while he's not spending $100k a year on just WWE Champions, given his history of known mobile gaming (and admitted spending on WWE Supercard), it's not unlikely that he's spending on multiple games. WWE Champions is just the one we can find the evidence of.

I'm not saying that I don't believe you, or that it's not possible, but it's something I just really struggle to get my head around.

I guess it'd seem more plausible if he was hitting the online casinos or betting pages - the more conventional ways to spiral out of financial control. The concept of doing that via microtransactions on a mobile game is just so obscene to me.

what fascinates me is the total lack of any community around this guy. the game grumps guy has made bank for years from being an asshole and badly playing video games [to a much lesser extent] but there's a fanbase around that thing. people throw the word cult around a lot to smear any group they dislike but the DSP inner circle gives me really strong cult vibes. reminds me a lot of daylife army/tumple (tldr- a jaded gen-x coomer convinces a half dozen lost boys to ironically give him their life savings, sever ties with their families and eat his cum) or a heavens gate with too much agoraphobia to have an Away Team.

as to the guy who just left there's 0 chance of him learning or improving. nobody who would give phil more than a dollar or two has any hope.

You struggle to get your head around this because you're a normal individual.

Phil isn't. The evidence that he's spent at least $60,000 in WWE champions is overwhelming, people are serving life sentences for murder on less evidence than we have on Phil.

Do we know whos tipping under "dsp" name? Is it OIC?

I understand why you’re curious about this, but also you gotta understand that it actually makes zero difference since the 6-7 people hoisting Phil up by their bankrolls all fit the same archetype. They might as well all be the same autistic lonely person who spends all their fun money on Phil. I don’t believe for a single second OIC or any other whale has actual wealth, except for PlanetJeff because I 100% believe him spending his dead wife’s inheritance on Phil because that’s something that a pathetic individual would do.
