It's really a little too allegorical now, and about people who most people currently alive aren't familiar with. The actual story itself still has something to say, but the inside pool of '10s-'20s Bolshevism aren't familiar to most. Of course, many of the very people who should be familiar with that era of history aren't, hence dumbfuck gommunists.
Also Democratic Socialism of the Orwellian or Fabian sort relies, like any other form of democracy, on the consent of the governed. Soviet-style states are the antithesis of this. For that matter, the current "Democratic Socialists of America" or DSA aren't. They're just generic wokester consoomers. IMO these worthless SJWs are even worse than plain old gommunists. At least you know what to expect of tankies.

That guy might as well have just posted "I a'm a rapist" and been done with it. Fuck off with realism in comics. It works for some, but it's generally better to have a stylized and cartoonish take on stuff to make it more archetypal. And Mary Jane's body as he drew it was way more accurate for an average woman than most of the male characters in comics.. And either way, stfu, its a stupid thing to virtue signal over. They're fucking comics.

And THAT is why it’s evil. There is no reason this drawing couldn’t make the point that some people need extra help without taking anything away from the person on the left, but that isn’t revenge, so it isn’t equity.
Equity requires the “marginalized” to feel they’ve taken something from their oppressor, so they can feel they’ve gotten revenge.

They try to sell that equality of outcomes means making sure no one is ever affected by their race, but it actually makes everyone affected by it, because 1.) that is easier than achieving their supposed goal, and 2.) creates the endless push toward utopianism that won't actually come. Now people who never experienced racism before in all groups suddenly have to contend with it from every angle, instead of everyone disapproving of racists when they see them.
A big problem is slicing up demographics by race a lot and finding disparities there that are often better explained and SOLVED by putting resources toward people who live in cities, or people in poverty, or people who don't have cars. That would be true "equity" as it appears here, because the ramps help not just wheelchair-bound people but people with bad knees or people who find it faster to walk up the ramp. But CRT would make the ramp off-limits to everyone else unless they want to be accused of appropriating it. It's the exact wrong way to try to lift people up.
Disney named the black racial affinity group "Wakanda" by the way.

What’s great about this pic is that it clearly illustrates that the goal is to cause *stress and discomfort* to the person on the left. There is no reason their position, which allows them to lean forward and support themselves on their arms if needed, could not have been maintained, and the others be provided their assistance as shown. But it was critical, you see, that they be lowered. Now they must peer over, and cannot rest or relax against the fence.
I’m honestly just shocked they provided the tiny bit of cover making the person on the left black gives them, because it’s the fact that he’s black that will break through the “anything a white guy suffers is good” conditioning and lets them see what has actually happened here. And the other two are white or Asian. Lol. Fuck this DARVO bullshit.

You have any good reading/watching recommendations for studying up on the early communist movement in the west/america. I read like half of Assigment in Utopia, and found the early bits about the old communist factions in the USA interesting but I'm not really sure where to find more on the subject. Especially because when it comes to communism you can't always be certain the info you're getting isn't heavily biased one way or the other.

It should be interesting to see them attempt to do the Wokeism bullshit in the movie and TV realm.
In comics, Marvel is disconnected from capitalism, as they sell to the stores, who are left holding the bag if they can't resell them to readers.
That's not the case for movies and other media. If they put out a shit TV show, the TV networks don't eat that cost.
