I also like how they never really explain what said person did is shitty and you're just supposed to either know already or take their word for it. Valid has always irritated me when it comes to identities or whatever. Its overall a far too cold and clinical word to apply to something like a person's identity or point of view, and I'd still feel that way even if I was perfectly fine with how arbitrary and convoluted gender identity has become.
