So let's look at your discontent more seriously. You say that threads should only be about ridicule. You imply that only newfags wouldn't get that that is the point of lolcow threads. Yet if you go back into the archives, you'll see plenty of deviations from this. Null expresses his enjoyment of Emily Youris' early content. Threads like early sargon or ethan ralph are more appreciative than negative. This is stuff going right up until your signup date. It wasn't until they started acting more like retards that people started laughing more at them than with them. Metokur is another example where the people that hate him are just more lolcowish than the person of interest. Besides selling out, he never did much dumb shit.

At its core I don't think threads are there to ridicule people; that would imply lolcows need help. That they would only become ridiculous because of the active participation of kiwifarmers. Instead, I'd say threads are there to laugh at the dumbest shit in the world. And sometimes bad attempts at trying to ridicule are funnier than the antics of the supposed cow.

And to continue to be serious for a second, I think it also comes down to a different worldview. Like if I read the OP, as you suggested, I see the comic about the having skeeted on things and I see a funny observation about how we don't want anything other people have ejaculated on, except if it's a girl.

But somehow the OP interprets that as saying a girl is an object, a mattress. The comic is saying the exact opposite. And part of the reason for that disconnect between OP's interpretation and what I think some others see, is that I don't think it's the worst thing to have a prefference for less promiscuous people. That's why the comic doesn't annoy me the way it would annoy someone who thinks critizing promiscuity is rape culture or something like that. This is already close to overthinking it, but I'm trying to explain why other people view these comics differently. It goes a step further, they're laughing at the impulse in themselves to not be discerning in what partner they choose. And I think in OP's mind it goes to "incel thinks women are objects!" because there is an undercurrent of judging women/men on promiscuity.

It's not, tho. It's simplistic, sure. But look at the amount it's been memed all over the internet. It's obviously compelling on some level. It's incredibly effective at getting its message across, and being memorable, which is the point of political cartoons.

Lol'd at people calling Stonetoss' art shitty, because it's not muh classical oil paintings. No newbie or regular person can make comics like that, hell, even more or less skilled artists can fail to pull off something so simple yet good. Why? Because "simple" is not equal to "easy", that's why so many antifa morons shit themself in attempt to redo stonetoss pages. His art has right composition, limited and not offensive to eyes color palette with right color placing on different planes, characters and background not overfilled with useless details, every character is stylized, but has their own details and very expressive face so the reader can easily tell who is who and what's going on. Frames are also placed just right as well as the text bubbles (you might be surprised with how many artists fail with good bubble placing!). And, finally, text: short, but delivers the message.

You need to be either too far away from art or completely retarded to not to notice all the good things about Stonetoss' skills.
