Not to say its just OtakMori but yeah, does anyone know what context she's talking about?

Basically people, I imagine a JP clipper, uploaded a clip of her saying stuff to Polka out of context which made her appear angry. She did thank the person who translated that clip into English on Twitter.

I watch a fair amount of Polka/Flare clips and Streams since I think it's a cute pairing and I've never come across any translated clips that portray Flare poorly. I think it's the same story as Coco asking viewers to stop comparing or talking about viewership numbers. In the latter, she even specifies a specific Japanese word that they use that she wants people to refrain from saying. So I'm fairly certain it's directed towards her JP crowd. (On top of the fact that Flare's English isn't good enough to understand EN TL's and know if they're good or bad)

I mean pretty much every clipper oversells or clickbaits their titles and awkwardly hacks the context to make the videos short and digestible.

'Angry anime girl' pulls in big numbers and is significantly less interesting if you include the context/aftermath. Plenty of people who only know V-tubers through translated clips have a massively warped understanding of what they are like >90% of the time.

Guys, I want your opinion on something real quick.
Alright. Attached to this post are the chatlogs of literally every channel in the Discord server, as of May 9th at 6:45am EST, in HTML form for easy use in-browser (courtesy of the Discord Chat Exporter).

Here is a Mega.nz folder containing the logs as well.
Should I continue updating the Mega archive of the chatlogs for posterity's sake, or is it not really important enough for further preservation? I'm asking now because they still haven't found out about our discussion of them, and if/when they do I imagine they might DFE.

I doubt it will have much use. We are talking about group of retard furry roleplay as an online personality of a girl. It's obvious they aren't going to achieve much in life. Why not just take it off Mega and store a copy in your drive for now?

Still that new system must be working because 1.2k dislike is potatoes compared to the usual viewers/like counts

It only has 242 dislikes as of now, youtube assblasted most of the bots over the last day.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm a retard. It's at 1k, was looking at the wrong vid.
The interesting bit was the comment about Taiwan antis.

  • Agree
Reactions: Rezza
The country that literally showed the Dragon on television and were pretty much celebrating her return suddenly generating antis, i'm calling bullshit on that part
It's not Coco's antis, but Aqua's antis

China is not the only country with nationalists, click on the last aqua's Apex rank match, they are the same group of people. After aqua played apex on Taiwan's server last time, her fans drew a lot of ANTI on Taiwan's gaming forums for over-boasting, and during the last 2 streams, Taiwanese steamers on twitch openly organized people to send spam.

Taiwanese nationalists brought information from China that aqua was into ccp. They thought attacking aqua would irritate the Chinese.

Up until this week Taiwan's clip channel was still posting posts questioning cover's failure to add coco to hologram after coco's return. They also still see aqua's lack of public solidarity with coco during her break as proof that she is a Chinese imposter. The irony is that these Taiwanese are the only people who believe the rumors spread by China.

For the above information you can look up the game pages of Taiwan's forum ppt for yourself

The spam they post 倒讚幫 is a youtube meme from Taiwan, you can search it directly

夸起來 q走 is mocking her way of playing apex.

The comment section in the Taiwan clips channel about the last apex clip.

Or check out the Taiwan clip channel community that has coco icons.

Or easiest of all, aqua has very many Taiwanese fans, you can ask them directly.

Delta says the artist (mama) she has requested to design her upcoming live2d is "someone I decided could be the only mama for me".
She states that she cannot say the person's name, but that they're the greatest mama, and that we should look forward to it.

I would be pleasantly surprised to see Guchiko design for her one more time, would be hype as fuck.

Chinese speaker here. Just did a quick catch-up with the Aqua apex kerfuffles, It seems more like a flame war between Taiwanese Apex players, that didn't know and care about Hololive, criticizing Aqua's playstyle, and Aqua's fans, that overreacted upon seen their Ido insulted. The whole thing blew up and quickly died out back in January. It definitely didn't have anything to do with nationalism. Also the narrative about Taiwanese people thinking Aqua was into CCP can only be constructed by someome who were used to having limited freedom of information, which Taiwan does not.
