Don't count on coins themed after copyrighted properties to become the next doge. Grumpycat was doing great until it was hit with a cease and desist from the copyright owner, the same could happen here too.

Me and some friends made quite a bit of money on Grumpy too before the dease and desist. Not in this for the longhaul but I do expect it to rise a bit more before I pull out. Could be a good short term hold.

For the short term, yeah.

For a shitcoin that may be good to hold longer, I'm thinking poocoin. Low marketcap, good meme potential, it has actual use and the price is relatively low for now.

Where do people buy all those obscure meme-shitcoins? Is there an exchange specializing in crappy memecoins or are they mostly sold directly between private wallet like in the olden days?

The ERC20-based ones are on Uniswap, BSC ones are on Pancakeswap. Buyer beware, of course. Shitcoin casino is fun but chances of getting rugpulled (especially on a BSC one) are high.

Is there an actual way to get in on shitcoin casino without getting shafted with gas fees, or is that just part and parcel with all of this?

I just wanted to throw 20 bucks into garbage coins because I like autistically monitoring graphs in my 5 minute bursts of downtime but fuck it if it's going to come with an equal cost just to process transactions.
