However, the reason why is:
Trump was elected with a Mr. Smith Goes To Washington fantasy of 'draining the swamp'. But a businessman with no massive political apparatus that lifelong presidential candidates like the Clintons and Bushes created over decades meant that he was effectively isolated by the swamp when he was in the Oval Office. He had no loyal person who had been part of his team for years/decades to assume control of the FBI and likewise for other government bureaucracies. He even was lacking in core advisors to surround himself with due to being so completely unprepared to assume the office of the president.
Trumps force of will was able to execute somewhat but he was isolated and without control of his very own branch of the government like no other president. That resulted in an FBI that was openly hostile to him and worked to not only defy him but actively attack him. And his lack of trusted core advisors lead him to be surrounded by swamp denizens who continually retarded him by telling him he risked 'bad optics' if he did X.
If Trump returns to office from the mounting fraud evidence or wins again in 2024 he show no sign of building the necessary political apparatus that hampered him so gravely in his first term. Perhaps he will have such a 'I don't give a fuck' attitude in his second term that he finally stops appointing swap lackies but I doubt he would be any less impotent in dismantling the Antfa clowns the next time.
