I notice that nowhere in Jim's TL;DR pity party does he mention if he ever actually tried working out or improving his physical situation; seems he instead chose to wallow in self pity expecting others to fix the problem for him. On the one hand, this feels more like old Jim when he still enjoyed his job, but also like he's trying way too hard to please; there's a phoniness to his tone throughout the whole video.

Maybe the stars really did align and he finally found a game he couldn't endlessly bitch about, but this sudden change in attitude makes me think he's already preparing to roll back on the troon stuff.

He literally said in his last video unironically how much he hates videogames. This video probably only exists 100% so companies keep sending him free shit. He constantly complains about how he shouldnt be accosted for playing games on the easiest possible setting and If thats to be like shown here his talks about "struggling with some enemies and damage being bad" are probably because he's just not paying enough attention to not take damage from the mook infected. They really should not be a problem unless you're starting out in the game, having to deal with a larger one, or dealing with a horde of them, but that's literally how fucking game mechanics work.

I love this fat tub's excusing irresponsible parents with 'well no one expects a FIFA game to be a glorified slot machine, so why wouldn't parents allow their kids access to their credit cards?' This is like saying 'well porn sites have pop-ups saying you can't enter unless you're 18, so why would I supervise my kid's internet use?'

He's so far up his own ass with this pearl-clutching crusade against 'predatory' economics he can't see that the obvious solution remains if you don't like it stop buying it; no one is putting a gun to your head forcing you to empty your wallet for this AAA trash.

I played Anthem, The Division 2, Destiny 1/2 and Marvel's Avengers; didn't spend a penny beyond the intial buy-in. I put about 30 hours into Genshin Impact without dropping a dime into their gacha trash, same with Warframe; in fact the only freemium money I've ever spent was $10 on a mobile game I put about 100 hours into.

It's not rocket science, it just requires a modicum of discipline, but I guess if Jim knew what discipline was he wouldn't be such an absolute riot of a human being.
