Infected MGTOW - Men Going Their Own Way

These guys are SO close to figuring it all out but they're missing the point entirely. I feel that people (men especially) do need to spend time "going their own way" in order to explore, to try new things and learn new skills, and to grow as a person. But if you're obsessing about not having a relationship you're not really going anywhere mentally.
I'm thinking if a lot of these people took an extended camping trip or starting taking a martial arts class or exploring the local pubs and restaurants (which is something even the fattest, least athletic person can do) and just not worry about getting laid then they'd find what they needed.

I haven't really looked at them in awhile but if I remember right that basically was some of them, I'd say they were more varied than sluthate and probably are more capable of being happy.

The thing is, most MGTOW (according to Sandman, anyway) had been in relationships and those often ended disastrously. This victim mentality carries over into their new lifestyle and half of them develop a misogynistic agenda, citing vague scientific studies, quotes lifted from chauvinist fictional characters like James T. Kirk, and the opinions of comedians (Patrice O'Neal is a favourite). They do all of this in an attempt to sway other men from being competent at relationships, but it comes across sounding extremely infantile.
Their gods are men like Leonarndo da Vinci and Nikola Tesla. The former was allegedly a homosexual and never wed, and the latter was a brilliant, but sexist, scientist who regretted never being married and died poor because of his lacklustre business practices. While I have no issues with taking inspiration from hard-working, prolific men like them, some MGTOW believe that being away from women will make them achieve the same kind of success. Seems more like an ego-trip to me.
This whole movement actually believes it can change the world. There's one of them, called The Dark Knight, who posts videos comparing elements from the Nolan films to the Red Pill philosophy.

Yeah, you're exactly right. These guys think simply not having a girlfriend puts them on the same level as actual historical geniuses, without realizing that they don't have one-millionth of Leonardo or Tesla's intellect, perspective, worldliness, or work ethic. The kind of men MGTOW idolize would be horrified to be even remotely associated with all that nonsense.

I always thought Leo was gay with one of his apprentices? (Not uncommon) And Tesla has many stories, such as he was either asexual, celibate, or had his balls chopped off to avoid da wimmins whisking him away from work.
