Something it cant afford to do when it's at war with not just Hamas but, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah. It's all adding up.

To be honest, i'm quite skeptical about these "human shield" claims. British soldiers used to use excuses like "the IRA were hiding among them" when they committed massacres on Irish Catholic civilians like Bloody Sunday and the Ballymurphy massacre. And then there was no evidence for these claims.
