I would honestly say that both sides want annihilation of each other, but are being held back by a lack of resources on one side and a dependence on keeping things civil enough to still brush it under the rug internationally on the other side. You betcha butt "palestina" stops existing the second the internet stops working internationally. Thats when all buildings there look like the one they just bombed.

The vast majority of missiles used by the Palestinians are short range ballistic missiles with no guidance systems, they're just launched in a particular direction and travel along a simple ballistic path assuming wind isn't a major issue or the missile itself isn't defective. Its essentially just crudely made old school rocked artillery, hitting something as specific as a building with those is pure luck.

Sheer numbers of those cheap missiles is is the only advantage they have. The layered defense systems Israel uses could intercept far more sophisticated targets, but they don't attempt to intercept most of them because it's very simple to estimate the flight path once radar has picked them up and only target ones determined to land in a vulnerable area and not ones that will land in a field somewhere.

And your massively overestimating the destructive potential of that number of missiles even assuming they could hit accurately, and the destructive potential of explosives in general. The Palestinians have fielded a few different types, but at most the total weight of 130 SRBM worth of warheads wouldn't amount to more than 6000 lb or so of high explosives. That's jack shit, a single multi-role fighter jet carries about the same payload when outfitted for ground attack. A single dedicated strategic bomber can carry 10x that amount, but a single run by one of those wouldn't turn a city to ruble either, it likely wouldn't render more than a city block unlivable.

So far a pretty quiet morning, I have a feeling that the Palestinians want to wait until nighttime to fire since it reduces the chance of them being deleted en route.

People here talk about USA getting involved and I have no idea what drugs they're smoking. The only USA troops I've heard on in Israel are some intelligence personal who's only danger is fucking the local populace. And I doubt Israel wants any third party going in and then running their mouth on real/imagined war crimes.

It's more interesting how the people react to this on the global level. The media spent the last year ignoring Nigs attacking Jews, now we have BLM and the far left inching towards a "kill all da joos" because a lifetime of being educated on supporting the underdog and hating the USA and its allies, this can cause a fracture in the left. It's also more ammo against Biden since this shit didn't happen under Trump, and you can be damn sure that if the relations between S. korea and N. Korea sours we'd see the lunatic version of yesterday's bullet missile hell.

Also Israel would probably cover the economic cost of all those missiles by selling Iron Dome systems.

It's pretty funny and everytime I see another article about AOC and the squad saying Israel needs to burn makes me feel really good about how those illuminati banker lizards or whatever will handel their golems in the future.

As much as I dislike the behaviour on both sides, I'm on the Palestinians' side here. Before this conflict, modern day Israel was a heaven for Middle Eastern Jews, Christians, and Muslims. However, the Zionist movement slowly took more and more land from the Palestinians between the 20s to 40s until the state of Israel was founded in 1946. The Zionist armies deployed terrorist tactics such as massacring Christians and Muslims and blowing up buildings as well to achieve their goals rather than just forcibly moving them off the land.

Using my vast lived experience on this planet, I can safely emote that both sides are absolute fuckers and deserve nothing but public ridicule and scorn.

They've both done equally morally abhorrent shit and neither is even remotely close to a benevolent party in this shit. It's two groups of assholes financed and equipped by outside interests fighting over a spot of dirt in the middle of nowhere in a gigantic proxy war over fucking religion of all things, and no matter who wins, everything sucks.

Literally the best solution is letting them murder one another. They deserve one another, like an abusive alcoholic and their wife that calls the cops on him every time he beats her, only for her to turn around and go "NO! YOU CAN'T ARREST HIM, I LURVE HIIIM"
