Twitch is supposed to be a place where streamers play games, interact with a community, and get contributions for the entertainment they provide.
Twitch is a parasocial monetization platform at best and a non-nude, mostly, tease site at worst. You have to go back in time like 5-7 years for it to be a chill place where people streamed games.

Yes.

But need to wait a few years.
Buggd Cooldown mechanics.

And does anyone think he will adjust his lifesrtyle? Not fucking likely. He already has conditioned his cult to pay more and (at least this month) it worked. Yes he does not hit the tips goal each stream. But on avergae? Holy shit, he is bringing in the dough.
Of course this might also mean that he will grow accustomed to it and then fall harder. Just wait for the summer when no white hot popular games come out. What then? Return to Minecraft? Or another Souls run?

Bold of you to assume he actually sent anything. He knows why he was kicked.

I'm not convinced he knows anything. Garbage platforms like Twitch and YouTube are notoriously vague, presumably to avoid getting sued and having to explain their incompetent investigation teams. I've had videos removed with literally no bad words, nothing controversial and no copyright infringement. I do call dumb people who comment on my videos cunts though.

I'd assume it's his low view count versus high sub count. The numbers he had make me believe most of his subs were from Amazon Prime gifted memberships. So someone is paying for Amazon Prime, getting expedited delivery and watching movies/TV. But Amazon give them a $5 gifted sub which they spend on DSP, half of which comes back to Twitch (Amazon) and half to DSP. Meaning Amazon (Twitch) are paying DSP ~$2.50 out of their own pockets for streaming on their platform per sub. Now he's unpartnered they're giving him nothing and he's still streaming on their platform, Twitch wins.

The idea of Prime subs would be that Twitch could generate a small amount of revenue from people buying additional subs, but mostly through the sale of bits. While DSP is telling people to donate through PayPal rather than bits. By allowing him to stream on the platform they're still pulling in new users while not generating the little money they were off him and, more importantly, not paying him to beg.

He did nothing wrong.

For fuck's sake what the fuck is this.

He will, two to three years after the whales are all beached and he can't grok why he can send out a whale call and get instant pahsitivity anymore.

After that, he'll speedrun his way towards bankruptcy again (even if it isnt an option at that time), this time without the golden parachute.

For fuck's sake what the fuck is this.

Their Goodreads show they are... a prolific author to say the least. Furry troon, calling it. If those books sell, they could possibly metasticize into whale bucks, if they have enough available for sale.

I wouldn't bat an eyelash if a few of his 29% interest cards are already maxed out.
I posted this a few months ago, but here is Elizabeth Warren before she became a Native American princess explaining it pretty well.

TL;DR - DSP is probably MORE likely to get credit card offers now after bankruptcy because he is a PERFECT consumer for two reasons.
1) He will make the minimum payments until he dies.
2) He can't discharge any of it for six more years.

It legit would not shock me if DSP was back up to $100K in credit card debt within the next couple years.

I would not be shocked if despite the cashflow we see now, he's already back to six digit debt.
This is why the bankruptcy was actually the worst thing that could have happened to a guy like DSP.

You can't say DSP learned nothing from it because the truth is actually scarier. DSP learned that he could spend as much as he wanted to and then just get it discharged in court. He learned the completely wrong lesson.

It's funny that DSP claimed that the bankruptcy was a big loss for the trolls. The best thing that could have happened to DSP is that the court force him to sell the WA condo, take the equity to pay the credit cards legit, and then DSP had to move into an apartment without an HOA. He would have been forced to start living at his means. Yes, he would still have his Champions addiction, but he wouldn't have reinforced the behavior that "oh well, I'll just declare bankruptcy again in 2027."

Of course he isn't, all this bullshit lately has been for the express purpose of avoiding having to change the way he lives.

What's truly going to fuck him in the end isn't his spoiled income, though. It's his entitlement to spending a shit ton of money as if it will always be there. The relevance of Phil's perpetually cushy life cannot be overstated. It may suck in a lot of ways, but not financially. He has never known such a hardship as not having money, and it fucking shows more than anything else about him does. Phil managed to go bankrupt after making six figures for years without investing in an actual business that went belly-up in spectacular fashion, or buying a bunch of property that proved to be too costly to maintain after some unlikely and unforeseeable disasters struck. He did it by being stupidly wasteful. He did it by having the "Oh well" attitude that @Salubrious referenced above.

That doesn't happen in a vacuum. It comes about after many years of being a spoiled shit when it comes to availability of money. As much as he is sweating lately, it's not over sheer survival, it's over the continuation of the undeserved gravy train. He is not worried about simply making it, he wouldn't know a damn thing about that worry.

One day, I hope he does, then maybe he'll finally fucking learn. Doubtful, but if anything will do it, it's the day he has no money coming.

Wait.....what?

Why the random furry appearance?

This reminds me of that God-awful review the Nostalgia Critic did of the Wall. It was already a train wreck to begin with without some random furry suddenly coming out of buttfuck nowhere to give their two cents.

And speaking of cents, you aren't going to see a single one, much less ten dollars worth of them for that diatribe, Ms. Mountain Lion Mom.

There are four main reasons why a dual-income, no-kids family making $120K/year would need to file for bankruptcy.

1) Major business failure. This doesn't apply because DSP has not lost actual money in his business. He may have lost income, but his expenses are his games and his internet. He's not a restaurant (insert memes here.) The rent on his home doesn't count.

2) Medical emergency. This doesn't apply even though DSP is weaker physically than most 70 year old women I know. I'm not even using that as an insult here; DSP legit needs to get with a doctor or a physical therapist and get some sort of gym membership and start lifting weights. His body has completely atrophied at age 39 to the point where moving his PS4 or carrying in groceries is actually too much work for him.

3) Drug habit. This doesn't actually apply here as far as we know. As much as DSP likes his gin, it's not bankrupting him. Someone mentioned it on this forum (I forget who, sorry), but even drug addictions have a limit because there's only so many drugs you can do before you OD.

4) Gambling habit. We have a whole thread for that. Unlike a drug habit, this has no limit to the bottom of the pit.

TL;DR - People making six figures with no kids and no medical emergenies almost never go bankrupt barring someone having a serious addiction to something.
