In general I root for the Palestinians, but I really don't want rando Shlomos being hurt. But it's what it is.
The real interesting thing is not the conflict itself, because it is self evident that Palestine will lose and Israel will win and have their gear paid by the US Taxpayer.
What interesting is the international reaction. For example will anybody care about Palestine nowadays? How will the Woke left react to this? If Israelis win too much all arabs there will end up in Europe anyway. etc.
I think both sides are holding back. Modern infrastructure is very fragile, considering Israel got a lot of engineering jobs outsourced there (what I guess nobody in the west want to do) having for example a power outage for days could make a lot more damage economically than losing a few helicopters or tanks.
The Palestinians can only hope to dry out the coffers of Israel (good luck) somehow, considering they won't be able to beat the military. Sure, if there were the other Arab nations around who were anti Israel they could just zerg rush that hard to defend tiny piece of land, but the US spent the last 20+ years blowing up all the armies that could be doing that.
You'd think with billions of dollars in funding, their system could handle hundreds of rockets. But nah,it can't.
My contempt for jewish coders and builders is increasing.
Anti Missile defenses in general are not too great. Missiles that can intercept dumb ballistic and artillery missiles are way more expensive than those.
I think radar guided automatic flak cannons will return, I saw some concepts here and there. It will be good to lays down a shield of shrapnel that can stop missiles and drones.
Or lasers, I am sure you can sell anything to the top brass if it has freaking lasers and shit.
