How will Eren be stopped?

I saw somebody quote some of the lyrics from the season 4 opening: "My comedy show at its peak". I'm not sure what exactly those lyrics are supposed to be referring, as far as the intention of the song writer, but it does kind of feel like its referring to the ending fiasco. I could say that that's too stupid to be accurate, but... well here we are. A ton of other stupid stuff turned out to be true.

Maybe this was the plan all along and Isayama just spent over a decade setting up an ending as a troll.

It does seem appropriate that this would happen this year with all the madness going on: the D.C. protest, the Gamestop stock apocalypse, snow in Texas, more BLM riots, and now not only are Palestine and Israel firing rockets at one another or something, apparently the oil pipeline has been hacked, so that should be interesting. Can a wormhole just open up in the sky already?

So if the leaks are real or at least partially correct, then in the last installment for the high school spinoff, the obsessed turbonerd incarnation of Armin is the only guy who complains about the ending, and Mikasa defends the ending because it's easier to do an ending like this when you have "shortcomings". Eren was just seemed content to be there and his only criticism was that there were titans at all.

If I read this right, that means you're a turbonerd if you don't like the ending and it's okay because Isayama isn't good enough to do anything else. Incredible. I expected a proper resolution to the cult storyline, but abandoning it right at the climax to pull this instead was genuinely hilarious.

If the leaks are real then we now know that Attack on Titan became so shit that it broke anime and the story transferred to One Piece because now we know what Gol D Rodger and crew were laughing at.
First SAO, then all the isekai, now this. Is it safe to say the 2010s was not a good decade for anime?

You know what this reminds me of? Fucking Prison School.

The ending was widely reviled and the mangaka promised a “true ending” with the volume release, but basically used it as an opportunity to troll the fans with a dumb gag which pretty much torpedoed his career.
What happened? I thought the manga ended with Chiyo becoming the new Student Council head.

"You killed your own mother, accelerated the genocide of your own people, your homeland got nuked and you killed 80% of the entire human population causing thus another genetic bottleneck. So even if the Titans don't reawaken and finish the rest of us off, humans will go extinct by being too inbred because you didn't get the Asian pussy you thought you deserved?!"

"You wouldn't get it."

Absolutely incredible, assuming this is real.

I remember when that Naruto: The Last movie was being made, Kishimoto outright admitted the romance between the characters was so sparse because he’s not good at writing romance. From what I remember, he brought in the creator of a romance anime to direct the movie specifically because he wasn’t good at it.
I wish George Lucas had that level of self-awareness.

He actually did. He desperately didn't want to direct them, and asked several directors if they would take the job, but they were all self aware enough as well to realize they risked accepting a career ender if the first prequel movie became a disaser.

The whole sports festival arc was a fucking drag that went on for WAY too long, and the actual ending kinda shits on any development the characters might’ve had, with Mari running away from her problems without saying goodbye to her friends, Chiyo turning into a man-hating authoritarian like her sister and the boys ending up right back in prison. And the “true ending” is like 5 panels of the boys leaving the prison for the wet T-shirt contest they were promised at the beginning of the manga, which is obviously just there to troll the fans and doesn’t actually resolve any of the issues.

Like, really it probably should’ve ended after the second arc.
