When you think about it, it does seem ludicrous that we can even think to omit such an important aspect of our characters Most of our time in the real world is taken up with the pursuit of love and sex, so how can our characters be ambivalent towards such issues?

Because people have boundaries, maybe? Because it’s motherfucking ridiculous to explore the sexuality of a character that exists only in your head? I mean, if you start seriously considering what turns the sexual crank of your 15th-level wizard, you’ve been in the basement so long that your skin will probably start sloughing off as soon as sunlight even grazes it.

Don't know if Save Vs DM is one of the more deranged moderators (who am I kidding, all Rpg.net moderators are nuts) but found on an idle read through of a thread that they were claiming Portland as a home town back in 2007

On the last one about Zeus? Are you Shitting me??? You got a warning on that???? Damn!... Thank god I did not invest into Shannon's little company way back when. That is just nonsense and is how thinned skinned people are these days. No wonder they live off of food stamps and pipe dreams.

For the Record. Back then during the dot.com era I was shitting money everywhere and needed to decide where to invest on some things beside the usual.

Back then The Eternal City and a few other text games were the back bone on what gave them the money to do RPG.net. I also knew a few fuck faces back then, which is why ultimately I did not go further with it.

Assholes are assholes regardless of decade,... but it seems there are more assholes coming out of their mushroom holes of late to ruin everything for us.

The interesting thing about how Zeus's rep for skirt-chasing started is that back in the ancient days, when one 'territory' (tribe, city-state, etc) conquered or absorbed another, they would practice a weird kind of religious syncretism. Often this resulted in Zeus being subbed in for whatever the absorbed territory's head deity was, and married off to said deity's wife. Later Greeks did not like this one damned bit.

"Defenses of the police and justifications for a killing are not permitted and will result in length bans."

Awesome. Start some threads about white guys with guns who get shot by the police. Got to be some out there. Should result in an instant ban for the thread starter since following those rules would see half of the usual suspects banned as they drop in to go "actually it's completely justified here."

Of course, there's plenty of cases one can point at where the police killing of a white guy was complete bullshit, and everyone knows it - Daniel Shaver comes to mind most readily.

That said, if everyone started with white spree killers who got killed by police, I anticipate that the official posted rules would change to explicitly only apply to non-white victims.

This is true. I'd rather start with ones where they have it coming and ideally are part of Rpg.net's hated political alignment.

I doubt they'd put it in writing. Easier just to have it as an unwritten rule and ban accordingly. Who they going to appeal to?

You might start with LaVoy Finicum, that guy the FBI shot at the end of the Malheur Refuge 'occupation'. See if we can make their little brains melt.

Don't know if he was one of the mods that got doxed a while back, but best I recall most of them lived in shithole cities, so that may not be an unreasonable hope. Doesn't really matter though, you see people like this in other threads having to call the cops, and it never registers with them.

I think they meant 'keep it to one incident per thread', but I agree it sounds funny as shit.

I expect an extension of this shit policy will be that anyone who is in an LEO position, or for that matter has family in such, will be summarily banned.
