This is why it's more likely to be a fetish than some more innocuous desire. They either go to the extreme or they don't do anything at all. Hence why Kevin is so concerned about appearing feminine (albeit his version of femininity; not what a real woman would be like). He overemphasizes these aspects of himself because he gets a certain pleasure from being so overt in his expression. The fact that others support him in that only further reinforces his desire to be as much of a "trans-femme" as possible. Not to derail the thread with general trans talk, but this is def already happening with FTMs. Detransition rates are being drasticly under-reported because most of the young woman just grew out of it or they are too afraid of being publicly exiled from the community they just go silent and hope their friends and family just forget about it. Things might go differently with MTFs tho due to the higher numbers of fetishists vs people who transition from mental illness or trauma. Perhaps they will just retreat back into a larger niche like furries or kink since theres probably overlap there anyway.

I wonder....common advice for people with all sorts of problems like mild depression, internet or porn addiction, or other obsessions is to go outside more and exercise, to get into physical labour or activities, or just to hit the gym. Physical exercise and exhaustion seems to work wonders for normalising men's behaviour, even moreso than for women.
