I haven't seen anyone mention this so I thought I'd add it as I found it interesting.
In the first of the two streams Digi did for cash, he stated that he has ran out of his hormones so he hasn't been on them recently.
Personally I don't know the logistics behind suddenly stopping HRT, but I imagine any effects the hormones had done quickly begin to fade, based on what I've seen other trans people say about the matter.
...Not that anything seemed to actually be changing in the first place.

can't speak in terms of tranny hormones, but if it's anything like quitting steroids cold turkey -depending on the dosage, length and what an athlete took - he will experience massive moodswings, depressive episodes and lack of energy for weeks if not months.

If what I read online on cold turkey detransitions is to be believed, that seems to be the case + potential issues with blood clotting and blood pressure.

Guess we'll see what happens...

I used to think digi was a really decent writer as well, but that was before I recognized the truth that he is fundamentally unable to separate his writing from himself, his personal life and his own whims, so he is always destined to remain "decent" at best and never truly ascend to one of the greats who write because they love writing and what they write about. He was sort of on the right path to that with his anime analcyst videos but even then, I wouldn't say that many of them hold up. Asswar sticks out in my mind like a flare but everything else is so much noise.

I think a great example of this is his old isekai light novel project. The premise was basically that a shitty light novel writer gets isekai'd and has to now live in a world riddled with all of his own tropes. It's an obvious parody of a genre that a lot of anime fans were tired of even back then, and while not particularly well written or original it still was an okay enough piss take.
...until you realized that this wasn't a piss take at all and digi was actually unironically invested into this project (well, invested by digi standards, it still ended unfinished). I can't say that it was never intended as a parody, but even by the middle of the first episode it's obvious that digi gave up on the parody bit (if it was ever even a parody) and is just injecting himself into an isekai.
The problem is, this isn't a project that will ever be taken sincerely by anyone because the concept is so retarded so why bother making it anything more than what it says on the tin? It's not unwatchable by any means, which is better than he's doing nowadays, but it still isn't worth anyone's time.

To be fair, you can say that about 90% of anime "parodies". For a ton of LN writers their concept of satire seems to be limited to having the characters point out the cliches, but playing them straight anyway.

Are they gonna deliver their product while living out of a Prius? How will they fund it all? Do they even have enough gas to travel around anymore? Why are they even traveling around when their funds are admittedly limited?

Shit, this whole endeavour has more holes than a swiss cheese and reminds me more and more about the ending of plague dogs, where the dogs are swimming towards an imaginary island despite in reality, them drowning in the ocean. Digi & crew can chase islands all day (music career, onlyfans career, tiktok career, money, big anime hit, successful business) but that won't stop them from sinking to the bottom if they have no foundation to speak of in reality.

Going on and off hormones can have a major erratic effect on emotions, mood and behaviour. You see it in people taking Roids or black market HRT. Digi's endocrine system is for sure being effected and adding drugs to the mix plus going on and off HRT isn't helping.

This is why a lot of people who don't take HRT right end their life. Their brain chemistry get's fucked resulting in a depression then they use drugs (typically hallucinogens) to try and self medicate. But the damage has already been done, it's a shitty sad story.

What I don't understand is how Digi is unable to afford them (hrt pills) the cost is around 30-130 a month. If Digi can't afford them then I think that showcases a more immediate problem, that being they really are running low on cash flow. This is even after giving up on paying rent and Digi selling everything he could.
