I know that Rick‘s „clear“ take was basically „it’s a complex situation“ but putting fucking Rick And Morty into this to take some sort of moral high ground is peak soyboy reddit brainrot.
I don't know, he may not be entirely wrong on this one.
quote-everybody-who-runs-cnn-is-a-lot-like-jon-stewart-and-a-lot-of-people-who-run-all-the-ric...jpg

the incredibly basic joke on the show was that when very drunk or whatever the rick guy starts ranting about how much he hates israel, and that he bitches out when sober and claims he has no opinion cause it's "complicated"

it's a joke that's made so that a teenager can understand it perfectly, and he's somehow missed it so hard that it's now his real political opinion

twitter a hell of a drug

>Part 1 of 5
That's the first I hear about Quinton deciding to split up the iCarly video, so sorry if this is late, but boy is this a bad idea. I legit thought he just promised a really long single video, which was a poor idea by itself.

Content creators much better than him avoid making long series on the same subject like the plague, and for good reason. Talking about a very limited subject gets taxing real fast, it's the absolute best way to get yourself burnt out. On a very optimistic scenario, Quinton is going to be reading, adjusting and rewriting the same damn scripts about the same fucking show countless times for the rest of the year. Not to mention his schedule is already looking terrible without him having to juggle four extra iCarly videos in between the other uploads he promised for this year.

There's no smart way to make an in-depth thesis on iCarly, but I feel like it'd be slightly less retarded for him to just shit it all out in one go, like that madman who reviewed all seasons of The Simpsons. It'd give him room to breathe for the rest of the year and let him actually fulfill another promise to his patreons, plus nobody is going to fucking care if the editing on your stupid iCarly video starts getting a bit worse after the five hour mark. Splitting it up into more videos will give him more views and inflate his number of uploads, yes, but it's also the best way to keep ballooning his project until he can't possibly deliver something that matches his audience's hype, something he's been doing this whole year.

Anyways, Quinton is shit at managing his uploads, in other news water is wet.

He can’t I think he is failed he school drama student
Quinton only was on the AV club, if he was in a drama club is surprising he never talked about it. His acting skills are limited to angry reviewing lore.
He never intended to be an actor though. From what we know he always intended to be behind the camera before YouTube took off.

iCarly mini-series
One of Quinton's last remaining original "YouTube friends" is Defunctland, who made a fantastic series on Jim Henson's legacy. The difference being, Henson has a lengthy and interesting story filled with chapters that could easily become their own subjects.

The idea of making a retrospective series on iCarly is not an intrinsically flawed idea, but it is unnecessary, and filling it as Quinton is bound to do is going to work against it. The people that follow and remember Henson's work are on average more willing to sit through 40 minutes than iCarly fans are for over an hour. The show doesn't give you enough material to work for that long.

One of my favourite channels to watch is Hats Off Entertainment, which mainly does short video essays on classic comedy acts and VHS era comedy movies, both good and bad. I have been surprised by how this chap has made me a massive fan of The Three Stooges (especially in my case because of the Farley Bros movie) just by how he talks about them. I feel like if Q could tone down his ego, he could achieve the same result with Garfield or whatever he likes now. Arguably Q is doing that now with his infectious crusade to Super Size himself on themed McDonald's as his ludicrous Patreon numbers evidence.

People should be madder than he promised this video for hitting 400k and now he plans on holding it until he hits 500k.

Weird coincidence, but Quinton definitely meant the show.

I doubt Quinton could ever make the kind of video that makes you interested in the things he talks about. Doing that takes charisma and passion, and Quinton seems completely devoid of both. Even in the videos he gets to talk about Garfield, the thing he's recently been trying to make his entire personality, he has a hard time explaining why he even likes it. Hell, from what little I've seen of his script about the iCarly video(s) he doesn't even seem to like the show, which makes it all the more boggling that this is the one topic he decided to properly research. Instead of, you know, the stuff his patrons want him to cover, or the flagship series of his channel.

switch out Israel for african american and quinton would instantly support banning this statement entirely. How does such dissonance exist

the absolute irony of quinton giving thumbnail advice lmao

also, if quinton spent half as much time working on videos as he does shitting out unfunny tweets 24/7 then maybe he'd meet his goddamn deadlines??? the way this man spends literally all day on twitter is the only impressive thing about him
He actually really does echo the sense of Spoony to me even more so now with this. Like being a total leftist libtard on twitter and trying to be one of those social butterflies while the rest of the world is expecting you to actually fall back on your promises.

Though if any of the sheep that laugh and believe Quinton has good opinions worthy of hearing happen to be reading this, I have a nigerian prince with quite the offer for you.

Quinton is what it looks like when you can't form your own personality so you desperately glom on to anything in hopes of fitting in on this modern Internet.

He's more sad than annoying. A Channel Awesome fanboy (that in itself is very sad) who just does whatever he thinks Terminally Online People, troons, etc. will laugh at so he can be Doug Walker.

So you're saying he tries to mimic the behaviour of others because he lacks the capability to be a unique individual... fascinating, the Quinton-Autism Question just may have some viability to it

Gonna be disappointed if it's just a shorter version of Beige Frequency's video on Quinton.
I mean, what else could it be? Unless he does a Metokur-style video where he just makes fun of quinton, there really isn't much to add to Beige Frequency's videos. I guess for people who haven't seen them a standard documentary style would be fine, but how many people is that really?

There hasn't been a Down the Rabbit Hole style video about quinton, even though it would make for a pretty good narrative. You can trace all his problems back to his personality, craving to be a cool kid, inability to grow up, and the fact that his constant desire to take advantage of "the algorithm" has led him to make horrible creative choices. Beige Frequency's videos are great but they only look at a cut out portion of his life, as far as I remember. Something that dives into his early career, his breaking of friendships, his constant desire to be part of the in-group, his inability to hold discussions with those he blasts (e.g. Mauler and Rags, years ago), the fact that many of his old friends are now quite successful (TRO and Internet Historian)—all of this makes for a great tragic narrative if done right.

If Fredrik Knudsen can make an appealing video about WingsOfRedemption, he can make one about Quinton. And the truth is, nobody would come out in defense of Quinton if such a video were made.

He's really hyping this up. Surprisingly no meltdown tweets from Quinton yet. Gonna be disappointed if it's just a shorter version of Beige Frequency's video on Quinton.
Well if this tweet is anything to go off of it might not be considering tom is even saying it the meanest video he has made since his early edgier days on youtube
