thedeviluk has confirmed they've emailed Phil. So we will no doubt have an update after the break. But I expect that whether this is legit or not, Phil will just confirm that they are 100% verified and there's nothing at all to worry about.

I guess if they do end up charging all the tips back, maybe Phil having an email from the email associated with the PayPal saying "Yes, this is me, I did this" would be pretty damning evidence against the tractor.

I have circumstantial info to the contrary, attached here:

That is a screencap from Ducklol1337's "test" stream footage from 3 days ago. Note the timestamps. Thedeviluk sent 94 bits at 12:27 PM, then 9 minutes later sent 95 bits at 12:36 PM. Really peculiar amount of bits to send, until you realize that 95 bits is roughly the amount of bits you'd get from 9 minutes of ad farming on Twitch. Twitch ads are 30 seconds long and you need to interact with them once (click and close). Realistically you'd get through 13 or 14 ads in that timeframe given the down time of interaction and having to click and close. Since Twitch ads average 7.5 bits per ad (they give anywhere from 5 to 10 bits per ad), that's well, about 95 bits.

Now, who in their right fucking mind would ad farm for 9 minutes for a complete stranger? My guess is thedeviluk either personally knows Ducklol1337 or IS Ducklol1337 and was farming bits for his own channel.

Is this hard evidence? No. But it certainly makes it more interesting.

So are you saying that Ducklol1337 is potentially funnelling bits to themselves via a sock account watching ads and cheering?

i just woke up so i don't know if anyone addressed this yet, but i want to point out just how stupid KGHaelon is. his argument from what I've read here can be boiled down to "everyone on twitch begs. so it's not bad that phil begs"

he continually pushes the point "OTHER twitch streamers have tips goals. IS THAT BEGGING?"

okay, mate. yes that's begging. what now? if your entire argument hinges on a point that when conceded, doesn't actually fucking change anything. not a great argument. yeah, all twitch streamers are beggers, and phil is one of the worst, what the fuck now?

also don't think i need to point out why the reasoning of "everyone does it, so it's not bad that i do it" is stupid.

Phil gets triggered by someone asking to bring back cooking with the king.

He claims that he doesn't have a camcorder good enough to record it (while he has a camcorder pointing at his droopy face). "No, a phone is not good enough" (yes it is)

What a bitch, just admit you are too lazy and scared to deviate from your formula of being bad at games and begging for money.

His phone can easily film in 720p with a good bitrate. And his streams are in 720p so its not like it be lower quailty. Hell he streamed on his phone where we saw Dave in HD, which was frightening. Plus he could stream from his phone so its not like he needs to bring his PC down. Fun fact the Twitch App has a stream function, crazy I know.
