There was more money in it for the chicks-with-dicks than the common and overcrowded market of gay prostitutes, if they were somewhat good looking then get a pair of tits to up that income. It's pretty out dated but there's more than a dollop of truth to it. While a good proportion of people play solidly for one team there are also multitudes of people who could have their sexuality described in any number of vague terms. That's even before you start delving into the kink and fetish aspect of this kind of thing.

How many would be multitudes compared to a good portion of the population? It's always vague, like one in twenty around you are gay or one of your friends is trans and no one noticed...
