Never was one to consider myself a feminist, but I think I used to be more egalitarian in my views, generally. I also had more sympathy for transsexuals, and even supported their "right" to transition. Knowing what I know now, though, I find that transitioning is the last thing any of them should do. And any of them demanding acceptance by society should either be ignored or rebuked for their foolishness and selfishness.
Now, see, there's a way to present a message or even argue and not be annoying. Wedge is failing this because he's talking down to the reader, which is the fastest way to lose your audience.
However, Wedge will see the problem as everyone else not letting him talk down to them rather than the other way around. He basically already has in how he blames everyone else in that third post because when he gives them a stupid ultimatum of "accept my fan theory or else I won't want to be here anymore," they don't oblige. But he operates in a positive feedback loop, because now this example of his non-existent persuasive powers will prompt him to attempt it again since he feels wronged. When you're this annoying, you can't hold your presence there as a bargaining chip when people already prefer otherwise.
Listen to the indignancy in his thread's title. "[T]his sub needs to be more respectful to trans people." Ironically, demanding respect is one of the easiest ways to lose it. You don't get respect by stomping your feet and yelling, you earn respect. Even if that worked, that's not respect, that's authority, which is a completely different beast. Sadly, that's often how it goes with these Reddits who don't put up with people like Wedge: they get bombarded until an actual authority comes in and forces everyone to kowtow to the people causing the problem in the first place. The only real question is if Wedge is still too blinded by his impotent self-importance to try a second crack at this. I can only hope so.
It doesn't help that a lot of the time, when you see demands like "This place needs to be more respectful to [entitled group]" it's usually as part of a pattern where they're showing distinctly less respect for the group than they are already getting.

I don't know why this is profoundly funny and creepy to me that Kevin was actively staring at some women trying to intimate their behavior and mannerisms like some kind of skinwalker trying to mimic a female human. Honestly? I've nothing against the people who have dysphoria transitioning. I don't quite know why, but they seem in general to not go and be troons on the whole, especially when they're in one of the pockets that hates AGPs and will eject them, even as the troons sob about "trans unity!" and "evil truscum!" as they get yeeted into the trash-filled alley because that's where trash belongs.
But I don't think anybody has the right to demand people support and indulge them in their fetishes or ego-polishing. What they're demanding as 'acceptance' is entitlement. Which is the major tell that Wedge has never actually read or watched One Piece. The okama aren't trying to pass--they're more about being femme gay men (which is, to be fair, more or less what okama IRL is about) and the newkama are basically a floating rainbow parade party that happens to be capable of kicking your ass.
You do get some who are evil, but that gets scrubbed in translation, and a handful of good fucking luck figuring out what the hell to count this person as. It doesn't help that Japanese is a language where you don't really have gendered pronouns in the same sense as English--there's a reason you have some styles which are literally all about the androgyny.
You also sometimes get just bog fucking standard dudes-in-dresses.
