That Donkey Kong Country joke was funnier than it had any right to be

Unfortunately, he just has a thread about his lolsuit that he won through bullying a Youtuber in poor mental health and IIRC didn't follow through/properly serve a couple of websites. So the rest is just him versus Twin Galaxies who last I heard are going to make it nightmarish on him in court.Amazing BIlly Mitchell dont have a thread on Kiwi farms. I remember searching for one back during the latest drama surrounding him but there was nothing. He is a cow, no doubt. And he is a big cow.
most likely the FM towns Marty and the JVC Xeye, if the recent pictures of Mike lending it to James indicate anything. someone better than me at google-fu would find that pictureView attachment 2154597
So, any educated guesses?
If it's the FM Towns Marty the autists will never let him hear the end of it ...and they're right! What's wrong with the FM Towns?most likely the FM towns Marty and the JVC Xeye, if the recent pictures of Mike lending it to James indicate anything. someone better than me at google-fu would find that picture
Felt a little too fast paced for my liking. I actually wish he would've went into a little more detail about the 3DO Doom port.Good episode imo. Also looks like James will finally be reviewing Corpse Killer next.
I've always liked episodes where James covers multiple games/accessories on one system. This is another one in that manner that he gets right.Good episode imo. Also looks like James will finally be reviewing Corpse Killer next.
The X'Eye is just a Genesis with a permanently-attached Sega CD. Why Sega allowed JVC to sell such a device is a mystery, but this is mid-'90s Sega we're talking about, so don't bother trying to apply logic to their decisions.JVC Xeye
He doesn't always need to have a gut buster of a line. Episodes like this are just good to see what kind of shit was excreted way back then and see how he describes it and reacts to what's thrown at him. Sometimes, what game companies released in the 90's defies belief, so just seeing him go through it all can be fun. That was a lot better than the last episode. I agree that it felt like it felt rushed in some places, but console review episodes are some of the best AVGN episodes IMO.
This is the kind of content that keeps AVGN watchable. It's not as memorable or quotable as older episodes, but it's still enough to hold interest.
Now that you mention it, the way Cinemassacre is now is almost like an old survivor band where only one of the original founders remains and is surrounded by newcomers. The Screenwave guys just don't fit (literally in the case of the couch) the mold that made the brand a staple on YouTube. Problem is that this is likely the way it's going to be until it all ends.I also didn't realize how bad the Screenwave guys were until I was recommended the Rental Review to Street Figther: The Movie. I remember the time James, Mike, Bootsy, and Kyle Justin all played a game together, and they all fit on the Nerd couch just fine. No way in hell would that happen with these fat fuchs.
considering against the earlier episodes.... i say eh...Good episode imo. Also looks like James will finally be reviewing Corpse Killer next.
The 3DO was so hyped in game magazines as the next big thing in gaming. But it was one of those things where even as a kid I knew there was 0% chance of getting it and knew never to bother asking for it. The only other toy I recall like that was the Omnibot-2000 from Tomy.Ngl, the whole "It would have been cheaper for your parents to smack you upside the head with a Neo-Geo Cartridge than buy a 3DO" got a good laugh from me.
