The suffering in Gaza comes from Hamas policies which lead to Israel launching these attacks. Even before these attacks, there was still plenty of suffering in Gaza. Hamas has a consistent record of hitting electrical power lines/power plants with their rockets. Even if they didn't have this record, their actions have led to the complete stop of fuel importation into Gaza by Israel for the time being. Gaza was going to lose power anyway.

I will take your bait post one last time to outline my points clearly for the Kiwis reading the thread. My issue it not that Gaza is suffering, although it is tragic. My issue is not weather or not the Attacks are justified, this is war you must kill the enemy. My issue is that Israel is hiding behind Hamas for damages they have very likely caused, for optics. The attacks from Israel are much more accurate, from far more places, and with far better rockets. The footage of the lights going out in Gaza looks and sounds much more like an advanced Israeli missile than a shitty Hamas rocket.



Believe what you want about who did what, and where the blame falls. From what I can tell, this looks like Israel trying to play the innocent and caring nation, which is simply not the case. I am done with this back and forth, there is a war to archive. Have a good rest of your day.

Hamas is doing this for international attention. Knowing they can't win, they will keep firing rockets and getting kids killed until they feel the public can't take any more. Then they will stop and some douche will get credit for brokering a ceasefire. Make no mistake, Hamas only launches rockets to get pictures like this out to the world. Nothing more.
