Lefties and Righties both want to make Israel a multi-religion non-ethnostate, just for different reasons.
It's a bit more complicated than that, because there are pragmatic options as well: some Lefties believe support for Israel destabilized the ME and has been a massive drain on world economies and the total benefit of this is a really shit seditious "ally" who doesn't trade, and creating a bunch of angry Muslims. To them, a Muslim ethnostate is a preferable option, because then there is no Israel to support.
Meanwhile, some Righties believe support for Israel created a future trade partner in the ME and introduced an avenue for Western force projection once they're unified. They want an Israeli ethnostate, because it makes Israel forever alienated from its neighbors, and forces them to use foreign support and ties to stay afloat, like a slave state. Muslim coexistence is simply inferior, because they believe Israel will be more trustworthy and resistant to Russian/Saudi enticement, for obvious historical reasons.
Moderates and idealists on both sides who are more concerned with human suffering do exist, and these are the most likely to support a multi-religion solution, but I'm not even sure they're in the majority. The Israel situation is very polarizing and it has been boiling for years.
Regardless of Hamas or the race riots, it's very hard to muster sympathy for Israel's position when one side have missiles about as powerful as fireworks (see: the videos in the thread where they land in parking lots) and the other has a nuclear weapons program and a commanding presence on the economy and international relations.
The Iron Dome system is so effective it may as well be magic for how comprehensively outgunned the Palestinians are.
The rockets are a good deal stronger than "fireworks" but they aren't a decent muster compared to bombing runs. That's why Hamas should have never fired rockets in the first place, and their rationale for doing so was poor, to say the least. I don't think Muslims have realized the power they could wield with using social media to spread videos of instances of their (real or perceived) victimization, rather than bluster, inshallahs, and beheadings.
Hamas may be waiting for the Iron Dome to wear down to launch some-odd 5K+ rockets as fast as possible, but I don't know if they even have the capability for that sort of sustained fire.
