There is no such thing as neutral spanish, if you try everyone get weirded by how robotic it is also the accent and meanings change the entire game, that is why during the fansubbing ages the house rule of my group was "just let the translator do it in their own spanish" and the spaniard can seethe in the other side of the lake

Fun fact: the house rule was created thanks to Cartoon network, when they dubbed K.N.D to latin american spanish they made it with the most bombastic taco mariachi mexican dub imaginable that even include mexican memes, the best thing is that it was so good that it was used as a example of localization in subs and dubs done right and you got a generation of kids talking with a heavy mexican accent

Lol no, almost all the latin american dubs are made in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto rico (we did dubs back in the day, to my memory i think we did Dexter's Lab and Danny Phantom) is almost not noticeable but is there

They cant superchat and bilibili system for it is a absolute nightmare because it strip any kind of anonymity, if you simp and embarrass yourself or someone get your account and say Winnie the pooh your ass is going to be gulag to hell, also having a branch there means that you have to work walking in a "maybe" with tons of tons of eggshells just to not piss the overlords

The measly benefits are not worth the huge risks

Yes, there is no Country that naturally uses neutral Spanish. Most dubs reduce slang and try to tone down accents to get as close to neutral as possible. No one is waying, ARRIBA ARRIBA or cabroning on dubs. There are some notable exceptions where for some reason they decided to give heavy accents to some characters in some cartoons.

There is a reason why even you say its barely noticeable.

They can probably meme it up and it really depends on which regional accent or slang they pick. Most people are ok with Mexican or other regional stuff. Argentinian would probably be ok too.

Even more reason to avoid it then, and a pretty good one to boot. I could see them possibly covering any cameras on devices they are using with the exception of their tracking camera out of a paranoia of this happening.

Sounds like her problem now. I'm never going to confine spergy death threats and shit like that, but I'm also not a fan of defending someone who has made a conscious decision to burn the bridges of her YT fan base in favour of whatever prospective CN money there may be for her.

As I say this, she's already at 120,000 subs on BiliBili, but given that the momentum is being pushed to spite Taiwanese fans, I don't think these people have enough of a life to ever actually give her money.

The decision to sign a contract with a streaming network whose viewers are on record for previously harassing her own work colleague for mentioning Taiwanese fans is peak retardation, especially when it's literally those same fans that clipped and promoted her too.

Using Hololive metatags to play the algorithm game, only to unfollow all their members and delete those metatags retroactively says a lot about what kind of person she is and where her motivations lie here.

Probably down to nobody being mistaken for her. At least a dozen of those are matched from voice only, I'm fairly certain some are inaccurate because they use a slightly fake voice when vtubing. Virtually all of these videos copy+paste from the same list, so it somehow got accepted as a fact without anyone really checking.

Technically he is right, I don't feel guilty when I post about roommates either, it isn't like hackers found private information about the Hololive members or anything, Hololive literally only hires people with experience as content creators and doxxers just find their old YouTube, Twitch and NicoNico accounts and social media, they only find information posted publicly by the Hololive members themselves.
I do find these videos annoying though, they always repost the same shit and act edgy.
