Oh for chrissakes. Neither "goyim" nor "shiksa" have the power and weight both historical and political that the nigger word does. Everybody up on Twitter acting like SuperJew using Yiddishisms that have stratified out into the common English parlance to signify their membership in a minority class and exert authority and control on those both outside it and within it.
They all need to be slapped with The Five Books of Moses Says Sit Down and Shut the Fuck Up.
From my p.o.v., the American mania for ordinally indexing the relative impact and offensiveness of terms of abuse usually descends pretty quickly into some hair-splitting, woe-brokering, historically revisionist bullshit. If it had been me, I wouldn't have brought the "'n-word' as litmus test and key index point for all linguistic offense in America" argument into it at all since I think that whole endeavor rests on broken assumptions anyway.
I still like that someone (who wasn't that fumbling halfwit, Negz) raised a point that underscores the fact that Clara, who capriciously insists on rectitudinously tolerant and accepting speech toward outgroups is —
on her own terms — also perfectly happy to use derogatory language that everyone fucking knows has long been used to indicate outgroup contempt. Neither "goy" nor "shiksa" are or have ever been neutral descriptors, no matter how coy Clara wants to play about that reality.
I personally don't care if Clara uses those words, but it highlights one of Clara's traits: on some days, when it suits her, Clara is a classic Millean modern liberal humanist who insists that everyone be treated as amorphous universal subjects with no distinctive group features at all — on penalty of being smeared as a bigot — and other days, when it suits her, she's the Tribalest of Tribalists who haughtily clings to those pre-modern, obscurantist ingroup-outgroup distinctions until her knuckles turn white. Until, of course, someone calls her out for being one or the other. Then it's all "I'm not an SJW!" or "I'm not a SuperJew!"
lol sure
Still, you're more generous than I. On any given day, I'd slap them all, Jews and goyim alike, with all twenty-four books of the the Tanakh, expanded annotated edition.
