-Jeremy (from home), Alfredo, Barbara and Trevor are on this episode

-Jeremy is the temporary host because Michael was unavailable

-Despite her make-up Barbara's age tells against her

-there is a boring conversation about remote driven ipads (or something like that)

-They talk about the show Community

-Barbara is eating a lollipop and it draws attention to her horse teeth

-Jeremy says that Chevy Chase is problematic

-Trevor says that Community underwent a change in writers at some some point and seemed "a little artificial". This is of note because Off Topic is now very much artificial

-Trevor feigns excitement about something

-Alfredo talks about his work at IGN

-Jeremy likes Mass Effect

-Trevor makes a stupid face in an attempt to be funny

-Barbara asks if it is possible to die of poison ivy

-Trevor says a rhyme and Barbara gives him a high five

-Jeremy talks about The Binding of Isaac, Barbara does her best to feign interest but clearly does not care

-Trevor refers to Barbara as "sweetness"

-Barbara tries to make a joke (pun?) about a child named Isaac having binders for school but can't even commit to it and pretends to walk off set. Trevor makes a joke about Isaac being into bondage and puts his hand on Barbara's head in reassurance

-the bondage talk reminds Alfredo of the new Resident Evil game (which Michael has been streaming apparently)

-Alfredo says that he wants to get stepped on by a character from said game

-Barbara is "just happy that tall women are getting some uh much earned respect and uh are being seen as these like beautiful goddesses" and that "it's about time"

-Everyone says that they want to sexually submit to the character and Trevor refers to her as a "tall Amazonian princess"

-They show a picture of the character and Trevor pretends to not understand forced perspective

-Barbara says that it would be fun to cosplay the character

-Alfredo says that someone in chat said "dommy mommy". Barbara describes this as "amazing"

-Alfredo says that while playing aforementioned game he took a moment to admire the backside of the character and pantomimes a gesture of himself burying his face into the characters ass. Trevor compares the moment to the marvel character Quicksilver

-Barbara says that she wishes that the character could kill the player by smashing them between her breasts

-Trevor talks about a woman with the ability to crush things with her breasts. With teeth protuberant Barbara gives a look of exaggerated astonishment and Trevor again puts a hand on her head to reassure her

-Barbara pushes her breasts against the table as if she is trying to crush something. She says that it hurts and she does not recommend trying it

-Trevor says for the second time that he is "sleeping on" the new Resident Evil game and talks about a mod for it where you can spank the villain with a spatula

-Alfredo talks about a tiktok video that Ify made of himself sweatily asking where to find aforementioned mod. Everyone says that Ify is very funny and Alfredo says that he loves him

-Ify once sent Alfredo a naked selfie from the toilet without realizing it was a live photo. Trevor says that that was kosher

-Barbara tells a story about a man inadvertently revealing that he was cheating on his wife because of a live photo. Trevor says the word fuck during the conversation, which is the only swear word said thus fair

-Trevor says fuck again. Are they back to swearing like before?

-Lots of boring filler that isn't worth mentioning

-Alfredo talks about his birthday and Barbara mentions the date (the 11th if anyone cares). Trevor says that Barbara is very good with dates

-"Blah blah blah Mario Party blah blah blah stream blah blah blah Jackie blah blah blah" Alfredo Diaz, 2021

-Alfredo's gf Jackie is in nursing school

-Barbara tells a nearly decade old story about Andrew Blanchard misunderstanding the phrase "wolf it down"

-In a display of his apparent sensitivity Trevor says that Michael is "very good at shaking your convictions" in the context of whether or not he (Trevor) is using a word incorrectly

-Barbara makes a sex joke and Trevor is the only one that pretends that it is funny

-Alfredo tells a story about streaming Mario Party with Jackie, Michael and Lindsay. He says it devolved in senseless screaming. Reminder that these people are in their 30's

-Trevor says "Squad Team Force". We all know it is a stupid name but it hearing it said aloud really highlights how dumb it is

-Jackie gets unreasonably upset at video games, to the point of screaming at the top of her lungs

-Trevor says he does the same thing while Barbara gives a slow and exaggerated nod

-Barbara says that a few days ago she was doing an interview and Trevor's shrill screams were mistaken for the yowl of a cat

-Trevor says that he is a "petrol-head" with a moments hesitation and that he loves cars and the show The Grand Tour. They talk about it but it does not seem like a natural conversation. I think they are being paid to promote it

-Trevor shills James May's (he's on aforementioned show) YT channel

-Barbara and Trevor keep waffling on about the show and it removes any doubt about the fact that the podcast is now just a platform for advertisements

-Trevor jokes about the audience finding them so insufferable that they feel compelled to watch the podcast with the volume muted. He does not know how right he is

-Jeremy starts to say that Trevor is a fan of a particular show and Trevor agrees with him before he says the name of the show

-Trevor talks about Top Gear. This is distinct because he actually gives specific details about it, unlike most of the time where he just makes shit up

-Barbara says that Alfredo and Fiona should be a part of Achievement Haunter (I guess they plan on making more episodes of that?)

-Alfredo, Barbara and Trevor all frantically pantomime running

-Barbara was absolutely enamored with the audience's reaction to Trevor being tied to a bed in an episode of Achievement Hunter

-Trevor says that he does not believe in ghosts but pretends that he does for Achievement Haunter

-Trevor was tied to the bed in the dark for an hour, he seems to think that they should release the unedited footage of that for some reason

-More boring filler about Achievement Haunter

-Barbara and Blaine traveled together to Connecticut to film for some movie called Annabelle

-Barbara went to some ghost museum and was afraid of looking at a doll they had on display because she thought that it might bring her harm. She told the doll that she respects it but would not look at it

-They try to bring up a picture of the doll but it isn't right, prompting Trevor to give a look of confused retardation

-Trevor does an annoying old woman voice

-Trevor says that they are "steeped in science" and implies that Barbara's irrational fear of the doll is actually rational

-Alfredo is afraid to watch "scary" videos because he thinks a ghost might reach out and possess him through the screen. Jeremy tells him that that would never happen but he disagrees

-Trevor feeds Barbara question about the museum visit but she says that she cannot remember anything specific except that there were candles

-Trevor talks about Annabelle and it sounds like paid promotion

-Alfredo mentions "Popcorn and Shield". From a cursory internet search this seems to be another podcast but it does not seem to be an RT property because it does not appear on their website and it was uploaded to the Warner Bros YT channel

-Trevor says that Barbara has "got the Nevers Podcast OFFICIAL" and he thinks it's "really cool" even if it is "a sponsored thing"

-Alfredo swears a lot in one sentence. I guess they did allow them to start doing that again

-Alfredo is afraid of the dark

-Barbara says that she does not like horror movies and Trevor pats her on the head again

-More boring filler

-Barbara says that if she watches a horror movie she will be "ruined for weeks" but seems to backpedal because she realizes that they are supposed to be promoting The Conjuring 3

-Barbara describes Harley Quin as her "dream role" and that it is one of her highest aspirations to play the character

-Barbara wants to call it a "blue sky idea" but does not know what that phrase means

-"No limitation, and just kind of like throw out, these like, giant... Ideas that you don't have to think about how to do them just like what they are though. I think that's a great writing technique." -Barbara Dunkelman, Creative Director of Rooster Teeth Productions

-They promote the new Suicide Squad movie

-The first bell rings and Jeremy begs the audience to give RT their money

-(((Barbara))) wants to "weasel her way into" their stupid 'firt' joke and transform it into 'fart' instead

-Barbara says that they are going to make a "Squad Team Fart" shirt

-Trevor says that STF is "going after new content platforms" and he says they really "kickied ass right out of the gate" because they had a tiktok video that he describes as viral

-Barbara describes STF as making "short-form comedy content" for social media and says that that she is pleased that the video Trevor mentioned garnered 200k views in a week on tiktok

-Trevor praises tiktok and talks about some tiktok video he liked (some gay thing about star wars and stitching)

-Barbara says that STF is starting "essentially from scratch" and implies that the brand is somewhat distanced from RT. She says "It's a good way to get people to learn about Rooster Teeth and the content we're all making"

-Trevor says that AHWU is on an indefinite hiatus because they are doing more streaming and "content is different now". He insists that no one is making them do this and describes RT as a "fly on the wall" in relation to AT&T and says that they have bigger things to worry about

-Trevor says that their "chit chats" they have before their streams will "fulfill the AWHU need". He also says "We do so much, we need to take inventory of all of the things we are doing" which to my ear sounds like corporate oversight

-Barbara makes a joke about STF making AHWU instead and it is unfunny

-Jeremy suggests that they do their own version of AWHU but call it "Sqaud Team Force Update" or STFU. Barbara is enamored with the idea

-Barbara says "absolute unit" in what I think was supposed to be a british accent

-Trevor describes STF as their "wedge into this new space" (I believe in reference to tiktok)

-I am paraphrasing but Barbara says "I don't care how long you've been a fan of RT, we will make whatever we want and you don't have to like it"

-(((Barbara))) says that diversity is important

-Barbara thinks that the audience feels guilty about not watching all of the garbage content that they have put out/are going to put out. She says "You don't have to watch it, don't feel like you're failing us by not doing that."

-Jeremy says that they have plans for what they will do after their current minecraft series comes to an end. The plan? More minecraft

-Jeremy says his cat Booker is overweight but he is taking measures to make him lose weight

-Trevor tries to bait the audience into becoming a first member by insisting that their new minecraft video is particularly good

-Jeremy says his wife has a "real person job" and he sometimes interrupts interviews that she conducts with potential hires by screaming during his livestreams

-Barbara says that they started a new D&D podcast

-Jeremy talks for some minutes about "old man videos" he does with Michael (???)

-Trevor loves filming old men

-Trevor puts his hand on Barbara's head again but lets it linger this time

-Barbara says that they started a new D&D podcast
This has to be the 10th, inevitably going to fail and be shit canned, D&D podcast that RT has produced. Why the fuck are they still trying to make this work when it clearly never will. Oh wait Barbara is their creative director, that's why.

I swear Barbara only knows how to make three things and they are all podcasts.

Podcasts and doing "vlogger challenges from 2009". That one really was a nice burn from Gavin :p

Let's take a look at how that's working out for them

Because Critical Role is hugely popular (to the point of being a detriment to the actual game and community of DnD), and they are desperately trying to capture a fraction of that success.

The first time they were trying to hijack the popularity of Critical Roll. Now they're trying to hijack the popularity of Dimension 20. All creative talent that Roosterteeth once had is completely dead at this point.

-Barbara is "just happy that tall women are getting some uh much earned respect and uh are being seen as these like beautiful goddesses" and that "it's about time"
Retarded cunt. Supermodels are known for their height.
It's be interesting to see what has more life in it, a non existent dead person or Fiona Nova.
This could be an interesting science experiment.

"What happens when you put a human parrot in a room with a ghost?"

-Jeremy suggests that they do their own version of AWHU but call it "Sqaud Team Force Update" or STFU. Barbara is enamored with the idea
I'm sure she'll love the idea of someone telling her to shut the fuck up.
-Jeremy says that they have plans for what they will do after their current minecraft series comes to an end. The plan? More minecraft
Because no one has gotten sick of seeing the same boring shit for almost a decade. And people probably wonder why Ray got out when the getting out was good.

I really enjoyed the hero’s and half wits episodes, until it became apparent Geoff and Griffin where using it as an outlet for the divorce they would later announce.

She really hates Geoff.

Also just a small thing I picked up in the Resident Evil videos was Michael talking about having to request permission to play the game and for how long he is allowed. This kind of highlights their current low quality attitude that the stream must always be on and some one must always be funny at all times. Versus the old in the office freedom of playing games they want to play and having fun.

The lighting in the bottle is the group personality and you can’t recreate this via diversity hires or spreesheets. But the thing you can control is the main factor that causes the lighting bottle to produce something of value. Fun. If they are having fun, in turn people enjoy watching them.

This stupid non stop stream thing is killing them, they are tired and worn out, any type of work can be exhausting. I mean they eat and shit on stream. It’s not twitch, people are not donating money. Go back to offline recording and editing and let your “talent” have breaks.

You don't have to keep trying to remake the old AH crew, but you can still create the magic they had, which... none of them seem to understand.

I think Barbara said that because 1) She is vapid and full of herself 2) she had a growth spurt in her early teens and was taller than her peers for a while, being all long and gangly probably really bothered her. I couldn't find the picture I was looking for (it was her towering over some friends when she was quite young, it's as if it's been scrubbed from the internet) but I found this and I think it sort of illustrates my point.

Also my search taught me that she has a brother who is quite ugly

Just fucking script it for fuck sakes. Have some fucking decency to not subject your viewers to this CIA torture tech.
Sounds like you want them to just do outlines of their podcasts and the topics.....or Welcome TO Night Vale

Because Critical Role is hugely popular (to the point of being a detriment to the actual game and community of DnD), and they are desperately trying to capture a fraction of that success.
Why? Because it brought a bunch of people unto it that weren't "in the know" or didn't appreciate what was already there a la The Big Bang Theory?
The first time they were trying to hijack the popularity of Critical Roll. Now they're trying to hijack the popularity of Dimension 20. All creative talent that Roosterteeth once had is completely dead at this point.
It's funny since RT already has something called The Grimm Campaign, which is just a D and D session within the RWBY universe.

Why? Because it brought a bunch of people unto it that weren't "in the know" or didn't appreciate what was already there a la The Big Bang Theory?
It's brought a shit ton of people into the community, and they expect every game of DnD to work exactly like the show to the point of getting upset when a DM can't or won't fully voice every NPC uniquely, or that not every single action/interaction has to be fully RPed.

Genuine DnD fans treat them as though they're cancer.

Sounds like you want them to just do outlines of their podcasts and the topics.....or Welcome TO Night Vale
I want them to stop making low effort content of them just faffing about. If they can't create good off the cuff long-form content, make short scripted content. Quality > Quantity

Funny you mention that since I remember an episode of The Big Bang Theory had a D and D session where Howard as the DM did the different voices thing. And apparently the NBC series Community had a show where they did D and D that was pretty well received.

You know, if they did what you propose, they'd shutter pretty much everything that isn't related to RWBY (or Death Battle if you wanna be generous). But I think someone earlier in the thread mentioned that RT has a lot of shit that'll piss off fans if they end it.

If the only way to improve something's quality is to end it, fucking end it. Dragging something long past it's expiration date just because fans like it doesn't mean you should keep dragging.
