I think the automated nword ban is dumb but watching the video its kind of weird how it slips out of phil. Its kind of out of nowhere and not the way I would imagine a normal person inadvertently saying it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a stormfront rally barely contained in that head of his.

Honestly twitch bans people for saying a word that might be close to the n-word. So I am not shocked this happen. But he clearly said the n-word with the hard R. He says he said negger but how the fuck you slip up saying negative by saying negger, sorry but negative doesnt have a hard R. If he said negativer or some other word with a R i would be ok thats a slip up. Plus watch the video he says the n-word then a millisecond later says negative, and he doesnt correct himself nor apologize. Like many said he said this to get banned on twitch on purpose to play the victim card. Hell days before he has been saying twitch is a trash site that doesnt like him, but he wont leave twitch unless they give him another reason. Plus add his whales like OiC saying he hates youtube and that they wont go there makes me believe he wanted a reason to shit on twitch so he can go on youtube. Ironically this all happens after his begathon and after he gets paid on twitch. Think about it, twitch offers no extra income since Phil knows people like paying on twitch because of the free prime or the ambuguity of their personal info not shown to him. Youtube grants that ambiguity with Memberships and superchats, thus he knows if he goes on YouTube he makes more money. But going to youtube would make it seem he is quitting and scare off his twitch whales like OiC. But if he made it seem that twitch was being unfair to him it would give him a scapegoat to say he needs to go on YouTube without seeming his fault. Dave said the n-word on purpose and ironic all these years he never slipped up but does after he gets paid and no sight of extra income from twitch.

Yeah I have noticed a few users like yourself (that are the minority, not the majority when it comes to this ) that seem to have noticed that the timing in which he jumped ship from Twitch to YouTube is just far too coincidental, and that he was only buying up some time for his final payment to process and go out with a last hurrah (the begathon) so he could immediately cash in on as much money as possible before he dipped and transitioned completely to YouTube.

Still what kind of gets me is that he didn't have to use some moronic trigger word ploy in order to make it look like Twitch was the villian once again and Phil once again did absolutely nothing wrong in response to this (so if he was intentionally waiting for a moment to get banned, then yes you could argue that this was his final payback at twitch for dropping him out of the partnership program and limiting his precious income making him "destitute").

He could have been upfront and honest with his fans about this and simply just say something along the lines of "Alright guys, the platform that twitch has for me right now is really not what I'm looking for, I'm gonna go to YouTube because that's the best thing for my future and for my community to grow and prosper, I hope you will still support me".

But that's an absolute pipe dream, expecting that much of the the "honest truth" to come out of his mouth.

Exactly. You can't say Phil is a retard with a brain soaked in gin who can't handle the basic facets of life but also believe he is some ingenious strategist planning to move to Youtube days or weeks ahead of time before there was any reason for him to move. He moved to Youtube because Twitch forced his hand just like every other time he was suspended or Dmca'd and couldn't stream on Twitch. People called this move for years because it was the only move as far as Phil was concerned.

Funny thing is in the short term getting banned did him a favor. Youtube gave him back the equivalent to bits and subs which he may not like today but something tells me he'll come around the day that cash shows up in his bank account.

This is the big problem with all the phil planned this, and phil planned that, theories people talk about. He CAN plan ahead but he's not good at it. He mostly thinks of the here and now. Phil had been setting up YouTube, so I think the likelihood is Phil suspected/feared that he be banned from twitch at some point. With no direct contact with twitch beyond the generic appeal he likely was concerned that if he was banned with no backup he'd make no money. The only thing he cares about.

So DSP planned to transition. Likely he'd have begun with a few pilot streams on YouTube post the begathon and his last payment. However fate certainly played a factor in what happened, or just his stupidity as he gets banned the day after he is payed - plays victim and likely implements his plan early.

He either regonize d the opportunity or simply needed to reach his tip goal.

YouTube is gonna give far less of a shit about him than Twitch did. YouTube is notorious for having everything automated and Phil is just a drop in the ocean to them.

I am curious how they handle his general toxicity and insulting of viewers though. He is a complete cunt to people on a daily basis and YouTube may not put up with it like Twitch did.
