We don't really know what could have been of Jazz had he been left alone, but we do know there are some early indications of potential homosexuality in children. Say, not all boys who play with dolls will turn out to be gay, but gay men are more likely to have played with dolls in childhood. If Jazz was into "girly" stuff when he was a little boy, there is a chance that this was an indicator of possible homosexuality, although not a conclusive one.

Exactly. Jazz never had a normal puberty where he was allowed to develop a sexuality. It's pretty obvious from his comments on the show that he's still stuck in a childlike state when it comes to sex and relationships - he literally thinks he's going to meet someone, they'll fall in love, he'll have an "orgasm" (or whatever his concept of that is) and they'll live happily ever after. Jazz was basically fed since he was two years old that something was wrong with his penis to the point where he never masturbated; although to be fair, it does seem like some kids-turned-teens MtFs snap out of it a bit once they discover the joys of masturbation. I know there was at least one case in the sideshow thread where a mom worried about her teen boy stopping hormones since he discovered wanking.

Wait ... so BOTH maternal and paternal grandfathers are doctors and no one asked for or took their advice on either the affects of chemical castrations of prepubescent boys or the botched patchwork vagina surgeries? I wonder what kind of doctors they are, but you would have thought that both Greg and Jeanette coming from medical families would have asked more questions before arbitrarily butchering and castrating their son.

Since people pointed out that greg's side of the family is completely absent from all of the media around the family, I have a feeling they did express disapproval of something or cross jeannette in some way. It is hard to know if they disapproved of the trooning or of the media circus invited into their son's home, or both.

I also found out that greg's dad used to do OBGYN as a specialty primarily but switched to pallative (near death) care. It seems that he got sued sometime in the early 2000s for a birth injury. He was named along with a nurse midwife that he was in charge of supervising. The hospital filed a motion to be removed as defendants because the conduct causing the injury was against the hospitals policies, and that motion is mostly why it shows up when you search for him. Most birth injuries are from oxygen deprivation. It is possible that the nurse midwife fucked up all on her own and didn't alert the physician in charge of supervising, but that doesn't matter, its like co-signing a loan when you decide to supervise a nurse practitioner or a physicians assistant etc. You're on the hook for anything that goes wrong. Most OBGYNs lose one full term baby that was otherwise expected to live, thats over a career of tens of thousands of births.

From what I can recall no one has so much as mentioned gregs side of the family on the show. I wonder if they want nothing to do with the show, or if jeannette wants nothing to do with greg's side of the family? If they questioned her parenting I can bet that jeannette said they can't be involved. She pulls out the "jazz will 41%!!!" card whenever people question pediatric transition. I am sure that to someone who delivered babies for decades that it is absurd to call a fuck-pocket made of skin a "vagina". When americans were surveyed it turned out the majority didn't want to be famous, either, so they might have just said the book and media tour thing is shameful and damaging to their grandchildren. If there is any bad blood a more distant relative on greg's side might be talking a lot of shit on a normie website like facebook. “Passing really well”=/= “healthy”. That was the only way I could think to differentiate them as the vast majority, regardless when they start, look like ogres. Whatever tblockers did for that boy it destroyed his body for the rest of his life.
