He was unprepared for his troon armor to fail. Now he's off privately licking his wounds and waiting for an opportunity to undo the damage to his public image, but that will also fail because he won't address the common denominator. He thinks he's fine just the way he is and it's everyone else who's wrong. Fleeting moments of self-awareness, along with any discomfort that might accompany them, are easily dismissed by telling himself his critics are all just transphobes. Even though there's a 700-page thread cataloging specific examples of his poor behavior.

I think he'll come back soon with a new schtick and the same old antics.

He was doing pretty good before he went dark. There was the CNN interview, then the podcast and CBC article. We watched him harshly diss a local reporter who was going to put his face on television yet again. He was really coming along as a media shitbag and then he inexplicably shut up. We know that he's trying to transition to e-begging, so losing that momentum had to hurt. I wonder if he joined the 41% and is all fucked up in a hospital somewhere. Maybe he fucked up the attempt so bad that lost a couple of fingers and it's too painful to type. Boy wouldn't that be a thing?

His behavior was a bit outlandish there before his disappearance, and given we don't know whats causing his tweets to be deleted and the big hits aren't the ones going away it may be something automatic. I do wonder if he wasn't put in a hospital involuntary. They usually hold you less based on how long you actually need, and how long your insurance agrees to pay. Ends up being around 10 days for most people not on medicaid.

If the tweet removal is automatic then something else is up. Is there any way to check if the removals are manual or auto?

To be totally morbid, if he did 41%, how long might it be before anyone notices? He doesn’t really have friends or loved ones. His family is far away, and we don’t know how frequently they communicate, but probably not on a daily basis. His “life partner” is in jail right? Who would be left to notice he’s missing?
There have been plenty of cases of people dying and not being discovered for weeks, until the smell tips off other people in the apartment complex for instance.
If he offed himself in the woods it could be even longer.
There was that girl that died in a water tank at a hotel and nobody knew until guests started complaining about the water quality (nightmare fuel shit right there).

My guess is Rhys has gone on a bender. He was already hitting the booze and anti-anxiety meds pretty hard. And that's when things were actually going pretty well for him. Now that he has hit rock bottom career wise and the world is starting to push back on the trans athlete thing, he has got to be super stressed out. I'm preparing my dancing skeleton .gif in case of an accidental OD.

Rhys won't start up his social media again until he gets a job. He can't keep up the "I wasn't fired, you guys, I totally quit" BS until he has something else lined up. And too many people have asked him about his "dream job" opportunity that he can't keep avoiding the question forever.

What I really want to know is who is allowing his broke ass to couch surf until he gets back on his feet? Has he found a new platonic life pedo partner?
