So like I said before the music of the mod is pretty good and to add to that it's the character design and concept is kinda interesting, it's just that it doesn't bring anything new to the table.
It is literally just a knock off version of Hex to it being a guy with a TV head that gets hacked or someshit at the end, it not only rips off Hex but it also does the whole trend of two (three in this case) normal phases and a ballistic last one that so many mods have done before.
I don't know if this thing even had hype around (saying this cuz they posted a teaser trailer for some reason), the creator's mod before it was just some weird furry reskin so doubt people would be excited for another mod by them.
What I was referring to when I said "furry reskin mod" btw.
Sadly it never got updated with week 6 and 7
Anyways here are the two different phases of the battle. (I'm not counting the nervous expression in the third song cuz it's only one frame)
Two extra notes: the Gf just looks weird to me, she's either sitting on a recording station or is floating in mid-air, It might just be me that think it looks odd but idk.
Also when I was looking for videos of the mod I found one that was named "Cyrix is better then Hex?!" so this isn't just me seeing something there when it isn't.
The reason why the Hex mod worked was cuz of the tone of the mod being different from the others with it being all cheery and happy, that and it had did a good amount of interesting/revolutionary things like it's cutscenes and it having somewhat of a day and night cycle.
Anyways I checked out both of it's two big creators and surprise surprise they are furries (judging from the intro there is also another furry dev)
One of them is obviously more collected with them not putting shitty pronouns in their bio but the other one is somekind of tranny and their fursona is literally a Sylveon lol.
This wasn't the surprising part, it came when I learned that they actually made the "Vs Kiryu" (YAKUZA) mod with even making new music for it and everything, it's pretty surreal.
