Did a little research on Wu's usual followers, can be divided into the following:

Gullible white guilters: You know, those types that have totally drunk the koolaid all cops are corrupt and want to have every excuse to kill blacks (even if they were the aggressors). In this case, Wu's just the loudest and most ignorant voice in a trend.

Macfags: The types who believe Apple/Mac is God and Steve Jobs was his prophet. Again, Wu is riding a trend here, but one he's slightly less of an idiot on. Note: slightly. John fucks up actually having serious cred in this field, but makes up for by being a great shill, though as we saw with those tweets he burned when his Mac went to hell, he's just a noob cosplaying as a smart guy.

Radfems: The unironic "Kill All Men" types mostly. The more sane feminists might follow along, but you'll notice only the radfems latch onto anything Wu says as gospel, and whether Wu is actually a man means nothing to them, they'll follow or listen to anyone spouting their shit loud enough, and Wu is happy to oblige in exchange for followers.

Anti-GGers: A diverse group, but mostly boils down to the people who blame Gamergate for everything from terrorism to their milk spoiling.

In all the above cases, Wu has no real opinions of his own, he's just milking these saps in exchange for asspats and sympathy.

Others following Wu:

Weeniacs: Paid or not, schill or not, these are the assholes continuing to send Wu threats and insults. May or may not be Anti-GGers or just random users fed up with her bait.

Nutjobs: Useful idiots that Wu relies on for hate mobbing. Example one: Sophia Banks. Secondary example: Maddie Meyers.

TechFags: The ones Wu appeals to constantly with her Women in Tech whinging. Overlap with the RadFems. Claims to be a software engineer despite, by all accounts, having no certifications in this field. Ignores simple facts like Women not liking tech fields all that much. Wu is all about these career morons and exploits them ruthlessly on the featured speaker circuit.

The entire GG situation is intresting because Twitter handled it in the worst way possible: they chose a side. If I were Twitter, all I'd be doing is figuring out a way to dismantle blocklists and telling the mainstream media about the fact that Pro-GG has been proven to not be a harassment campaign.

Why? Because it fucking draws traffic to Twitter. The longer the drama played out, the more money they could have made. And unlike Gawker, etc, they were seen as a neutral battleground, nobody cared what ads they ran. Now they've just pissed a lot of people off.

Now, the number of people that they've driven away with these policies is inconsequential for a website with a userbase as big as Twitter's, but if this is their new strategy for managing controversy, and if they don't find a way to dismantle block lists, they're likely to run into some problems in the long term.

There's also the manifold effect. The thing about the SJW compartmentalization of websites is that it invariably turns them all into the same fucking thing, a site that exists to solely serve the benefit of one side of an issue. Tumblr suffered heavily from this, Reddit the same, and now Twitter is going the same route. The result is always, invariably, the fucking same: They bleed money for any website they attach themselves to whilst they try to gear it specifically so it becomes as broken and fucked-up as them.

That is fucking poison for a site's userbase.

also Banana know that he can use the farms for infinite pity points but the lolcow wiki is there as a nuclear deterrent, he can't do it without exposing his article

Wait. Are you saying that the lolcow wiki article is in fact a virtual Peace Walker type weapon for us?

Awesome.

I think the more interesting think about the relationship between Brianna and Frank is he seems to be pretty much be a prop. You really don't see much public internet activity from him. His wife is supposedly getting regular death threats and he.. really doesn't seem to care that much. I remember in an interview outtake when Brianna was talking about a threat she got it talked about Frank having a tiny penis. He smiled and said "It's not, by the way" and started chuckling. He really seems disconnected from Brianna's "struggle". It's an odd reaction to see considering Brianna's entire career at this point is claiming how scared she is.

I also get the feeling Frank does not have any friends he can call over to hangout with. When Brianna meets people she just says it's her meeting them, Frank is never mentioned in the outings she goes to and the only time we hear about Frank from Brianna is when he provides her with more relevance to a topic (Hugo Awards, representation of Asians in video games) or when they're playing video games. He apparently goes with her to some of her panels as proven by the video where she's triggered by Ralph taking a picture of her and tweeting it. We got to see him quietly trail behind Brianna as she complained to security.

I'm not feeling bad for Frank because if the things his ex-wife said about him are true then this is a hell he deserves. He's now a trophy husband. Always having Brianna hover over him as he's playing video games, always having to sit in the back quietly like a child a mother couldn't find a babysitter for as she ran errands. It's just really weird and seems obvious he's more of a yes man and money dispenser than a spouse.

nothing stopped him to use 8chan,@copypaste and Jace in every chance he could for pity points, why would be the kiwi farms, a (apparently) easy target be different to them?

because our Doctor strangelove codename @Jaimas has created the final weapon, a weapon he can't destroy or make it disappear, this forum is not about GG so he can't use that card and we don't engage with him in his turf

We have entered the cold war of autism, only that this time america has the nukes and russia is leadered by a deranged tranny with issues

Frank is just a toy that brianna use to bolster his image as a women, he is trying to sell the image of a happy family, living the good life with his beloved and making his dream about making videogames come true.

if you want to see a more clear aspect of this, John barely mention frank on his tweets, and when he does it are for little things like eating oreos or playing mario party (a tweet he repeated two times) if you check Frank twitter account he only mention john when he is tweeted by him

on another aspect frank only was useful to brianna when the Sad puppies incident happened

and other other other thing about it? john is ALWAYS talking about the STRONK FEMALE and EQUALITY of women in the industry but he never mention the prospect of having a family, something that any woman has thought at least one time in their lives, he never mention NOTHING that connect to that topic, and when he is pushed to do it he blast the "SEX POSITIVE FEMINIST" thing, sadly you can only be SEX POSITIVE FEMINIST if you have someone to get laid, and well frank is there to fake all of that

You bring up a good point about Frank Wu's twitter account, @Cubanodun...
I can't help but kinda wonder if the account exists mostly for Brianna's sake, maybe Frank uses it on occasion but with his wife's demonstrated twitter addiction it could easily be more hers than his.

"I'm straight, but not narrow."

Interesting read. I thought this was kind of funny

"Brianna and I have been watching a lot of Voyager lately. We're going through what Bri has pre-selected as good episodes. (I admit that I watched the first couple seasons, but then got bored by it.)

I have to ... well, ok, I have to... uh... um... ok, actually many of these episodes are quite good."

So he saw the first few seasons of Voyager, didn't like it so Brianna made him watch her favorite episodes which results in him magically liking it. Fancy that, It's also interesting to see Frank talk about Saints Row the Third, a game that follows all of the things Brianna has listed as "problematic", and she doesn't give a fuck.

"We've been playing "Saints Row the Third," a video game that Bri describes as a game like Frank Wu would design."

Gee, it's almost as if she's only against these kind of games when she's on twitter and she knows she'll get a reaction.

Edit: It also seems like Brianna doesn't just tolerate the problematic games but she encouraged Frank getting into them.

"Also this year I spent dozens of hours learning to play “Gears of War.” Videogames are something that Brianna has always been into her entire life, and I’ve not been. (My dad never bought them for me, nor game me money to spend at arcades.) The catch phrase this year has been “LTP, noob (learn to play).”
It’s always been a slightly less-than-perfect thing between us, because she loves videogames, and, unlike a lot of guys, I kind of suck at them. So one day, while she was doing her daily run, she said that if I got through wave 6 (of enemies trying to kill me) all by myself, she’d do all the shopping for a week! I did, and she did. And I LTP’d! Brianna said, looks like you’re actually a gamer now. Yeah!"

Kind of a big contrast between Brianna tweeting about dudebro gaming culture.

IT'S BEEN TEN HOURS SINCE BRIANNA WU TWEETED SOMETHING

EMERGENCY

CODE RED CODE RED

I think she's reading the thread and she knows we're expecting her to make her own hate mail if she doesn't get any.

She didn't get any and we're only expecting one email, so she's spent all this time making fake emails and sending hate shit to herself.

Please see: Wu, pathetic, etc.

Awesome.

Nah, it ain't just that, we mention Wu's worst kept secret CONSTANTLY:

John. Flynt.

You don't even have to go to the Lolcow wiki for that (though it would eliminate all doubt for all except the most deluded). Wu's worst secret is Wu's own lies coming out, and that's the lie Wu has the worst control over.

Everything else can be lied or rationalized away to some greater or lesser extent, but Wu's social bubble is absolutely dependent on keeping all the details of his actual past firmly in "LIES, ALL LIES!" territory.

It just helps the biggest hole in Wu's nuclear defense happens to be that particular lie.

Either his ex was lying about the harassment, or John Wu is literally so bad that she completely broke him. In the few times I've seen or heard from him, he is completely subservient to Brianna.
"Brianna says these are good, they're very good."

"I'm not very good at games, Brianna has played them her whole life and is very good. I hope i can be as good as her someday"
It's like Brianna was behind him looking over his shoulder while he typed all of that. She's even hijacked his fucking name, because when most people say Wu they're usually referring to Brianna, not Frank. I kinda feel bad for him, he's the only one of the two who has any actual talent, but Johnny boy has basically tirned him into another one of her neglected lap dogs

Frank gives himself Hugo Awards for drawing shitty and tasteless pictures (see: his Guantanamo Bay "parody"). His life right now is entirely of his making.

In summary:

"Also this year I spent dozens of hours learning to play “Gears of War.” Videogames are something that Brianna has always been into her entire life, and I’ve not been. (My dad never bought them for me, nor game me money to spend at arcades.) The catch phrase this year has been “LTP, noob (learn to play).”

Frank just comes across as such a pathetic loser that I genuinely feel sorry for him, even if those things with her ex are true. He's been broken down so completely that I doubt any of the man he was before is left. He's like a dog that's been whipped into obedience and sits at the feet of his master, quietly awaiting his occasional piece of affection. I really hope things aren't like that in the Wu household, but that's how he comes across when he's around his "wife".

You can feel Brianna's presence in that last paragraph. She's watching him type and reaching down to correct him as he types.
"Tell them I've always been into videogames so they don't call me a fake gamer girl. Now tell them that I congratulated you when you did well. Also tell them I exercise and don't sit on the couch with my phone all day."

Frank isn't really allowed to have his own opinions on things unless Brianna has gone through them first and approved them. She's like the minister of culture, censoring what is not approved of and editing the rest. Frank is a puppet who will spout reaffirming opinions about Brianna from the SJW-safe position of a PoC. His only contributions must be to back up his domineering "wife" as she follows her own motivations. He's a politically convenient pet that Brianna lets out of the basement when she needs to.
