Super Smash Bros.

Never gonna happen, but...

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's extremely autistic to try and apply math to Nintendo's decisions on the roster. This kind of mentality is really getting out of hand, in my opinion, for the community.

On the plus side, this autist thinks Toad still has a chance @albert chan
Using mathematical formulas to guess what character will be on Smash Bros is about as predictable as thinking Bubsy will be a hit with new age Smash fans.

Rosterfaggotry was propelled to critical mass after the Ballot and Cloud in Smash 4. Any filter people might have had was gone and hypebeasts had fully embedded themselves.

Robotnik and King Boo are really the only choices at this point.

And then Waluigi as a special surprise a couple months after the last character is added.

Personally I would like Count Black as a villain rep, he's an interesting antagonist, and having a Paper Mario stage would be cool. But chances are pretty slim for any Paper Mario character to get in.

If we're going to guess Nintendo canon rather than outsider picks I'm going to place my bet on Paper Mario. PM being a direct adaptation of the Super Paper Mario moveset would be simple, effective and different enough from normal Mario to not feel like a clone, especially if a partner mechanic is involved. I doubt you could get enough appeal out of that to warrant a DLC though.

Otherwise I'm betting Robotnik or a Resident Evil pick.

Some prediction judging from the other dlc characters added:

-It's not an indie game character.
-It's a humanoid.
-It's not a returning nintendo owned character.

Now that I think about it I don't see which nintendo switch character they could add: IE( Min-min,Byleth,Pyra).
-Beside a new pokemon I don't see any suitable switch character being added

I've heard rumors about Ayumi as soon as the remakes were announced. Plus you could totally do something inventive with the text based system.

It's going to be a Pokemon rep, and feel free to quote this later when it's revealed it's not, because I'd be glad to be wrong.

Some other characters I'd like to see added to the game:

Medusa from Kid Icarus, because the game could use more villain characters.

Jibanyan from Yokai Watch, because I enjoyed that series and wouldn't mind seeing it get a rep in Smash.

I'm still hoping for Crash Bandicoot. He's the fighter I'd personally most like to see added to the game.

Or Doomslayer/Doomguy. That would be great, too.

Medusa would be greaaaaaaat.

But she already has a cameo in Dracula's Castle. So according to Smash Bros. Math, she's out. We'll have to get rock hard on our own time.
