Watching her lives as they were going down, I think she did lose her shit on him. However, I also am not as convinced as some that she is back with him. I think she's now trying to save face..."see guise, he understood that I'm batshit crazy and called him so many times and texted so much I FUCKING MADE HIS BATTERY DIE!" I don't believe it. He was out, and I think he left his phone at home because she had already started to blow it up before he left. She's now saying that she's not going over because he doesn't have the AC setup...an AC he didn't previously have...so that she can buy herself more time to either try and find someone else or make up some reason that she has to get rid of him. I'm not buying what she's selling. She does not think when she gets overly emotional and I do not doubt she would totally tank whatever there might have been between them, not that I think he was exclusively with her or all that great. Her back and forth through this whole thing reads to me like she has always wanted there to be more and he has kept putting on the breaks. That night he shut her down hard and she could not handle it and lost her shit....repeatedly...for hours. There was no plan or thought to anything she did, it was pure impulse and emotional lashing out and cries for attention. Breaking up with someone via text or voicemail to try to show them how upset you are is something that teenagers do...and that is where her mentality lies. The problem is that I'm not so sure that he has that mentality and her games may have finally backfired on her, but she will never admit that she is wrong. Now she has to try to save face till she can come up with something or beg him to take her back.

Those phone calls demanding her to come over at the beginning probably gave her a false sense of desirability to him. She probably thought he’d panic and beg for forgiveness immediately and it would feed her ego. I don't know. I could totally see Chantal preemptively breaking things off because she's irrationally angry and her overall lack of self-esteem forces a panic state where she senses he's going to break up with her, so, she's attempting to save face any way she can.

We saw how irrational she was during those live streams. The fact she called him multiple times, even went to his house, tells us everything we need to know about her state of mind. None of it good, of course.

So, it's not a stretch that this same level of insanity would lead her to break up with him.

What's more pathetic is the fact he apparently saw all the times she called, the texts she sent and the craziness she exhibited after a couple weeks of being together and only hours of not messaging her, and he didn't run and ghost her like that other guy who clearly saw the crazy.

Chantal being an unreliable narrator there is a great chance he might not called her back after her antics the other day. I think he did because Chantal has been throwing major level 10 clinger red flags before the other day and he still choose to fuck with her. Chantal is unreliable but she also has no emotional control. I don't believe most of what she says unless the emotions and telling tics are there to back it up. Her misanthropic tendencies makes her lying and manipulation ineffective on most people other than her family and someone like Peetz. If he is an addict Chantal's behavior isn't far out of the ordinary of people he currently associates with.

If she didn't have money to offer I think he would have ghosted after the first week. I do think there will be a limit to what he is willing to put up with her and that probably will around the time Chantal's money starts drying up.

She SAID he was calling here. Even then there were theories that she was setting alarms on her phone or messaging herself from her other phone because when those calls and messages were coming in her hands were rarely seen. There were few that believed that this human Weeble Wobble was so desirable that someone would call her that much. Again that is something teenagers do and they do in teen movies, which is where her maturity stagnated. So for her that would seem like the great thing to do....just like some of the other obvious lies she's told. The ever changing AMAZING details about this guy that mature adults are like, HUH? She has made him out to be as emotionally and mentally stunted as she is, which to me flags their relationship as not being all that she's made it out to be. It reads like a YA novel, not an adult romance/relationship. Even in the beginning she would get all dreamy and talk about being the one to make the bad boy good...and if you follow her narrative, she has slowly made him into a "good guy" that she just didn't understand and now she does and he's so much deeper...

No, I think Malan got tired of her shit and told her to get out after she cheated on him, which she admitted to later. In one of her high lives someone asked her if she cheated on him and she said yeah and that's why it ended and then she ended the stream and dirty deleted. I think she admitted to it later when someone called her on it too. I have a feeling things were a lot worse when the camera was off than what we saw. I can only imagine the rages that man put up with when we couldn't see. I don't think that they are still friends, I think she owes him money and he wants her shit out of his place.
