You know, Len has no problem saying the FBI and Homeland Security are involved all the time, but I have a feeling if he keeps name dropping ISIS and accusing people of being part of it, it's only a matter of time before they really do get involved. Part of me is laughing at the idea that he actually sent in that tweet to them or something.

I believe someone mentioned many pages back that while obtaining transcripts was perfectly legal, according to the state of Pennsylvania it's illegal to post them without the person(s) involved's permission.
Or something to that effect. I think. I know fuck-all about Pennsylvania, so I just assumed that they were correct.
I mean, I guess I could google it or something, but...that sounds suspiciously like effort.

Last I recall you can purchase the transcripts for ~$1 of so page, for public or private use. But you had to be a PA resident. Could be totes wrong..I believe someone mentioned many pages back that while obtaining transcripts was perfectly legal, according to the state of Pennsylvania it's illegal to post them without the person(s) involved's permission.

They prefer you don't post them largely because it would deprive them of further sales of the copies. So if someone did get it, one way to avoid harming their future sales is to watermark the transcript indelibly so it can't be used as a substitute for getting a copy from the reporter. This also has the benefit of not giving the bad guys (Shaner et al) any free help.
Generally, one simply contacts the court reporting company that did the recording, and requests a copy, which would probably require someone actually typing it up. They might or might not give the recording, but it may be worth asking. Then the company will usually provide a form for making the request, and give an estimate or actual price as to what it will cost.
Since it's usually something like by the page or by the character, they might not know for sure before it's typed up.
Most companies these days will provide a pdf, but I can't say for sure with rural Pennsylvania.
