Been a long time my fellow Kiwis...

I know I'm going to be berated for doomerisim but, I've all but given up. There is no end to this shit unless you're lucky enough to live in the rare couple of red states that have the balls to do what the rest of the world refuses to. The masses have been indoctrinated and brainwashed for a solid year and are completely beyond any and all reasonable discussion that just maybe this whole thing has been overblown and just maybe this has all been an excuse for power-hungry tyrant wannabes to extend their tentacles far more than ever before in history.

I've seen countless friends and family members not only blindly get their jabs without a second thought, but boast about it like they just got an A+ on a fucking college quiz. It's all too easy to mentally switch the vaccines out for whatever future equivalent the alleged mark of the beast will be and shudder at how simple it will be to see everyone I know and love effectively be led to slaughter.

I see hints, glimmers of hope that there will be a definitive end to this insanity, but then I see another 50 reasons why it won't and in fact will likely get worse. I'm frustrated, scared, angry, depressed, and just want it all to end...

Gotta say, I really think they should start paying people more. Fuck all the leftist angles of it, but I'd say a higher minimum wage would be a good thing. If there's only five people at a McDonald's and the line's constantly two dozen cars long, all day, every day, and you're spending more on gas and food than you can earn from your shifts, I can't blame them for quitting. It looks miserable.

A part of me thinks that the unemployment benefits are almost good and especially good for capitalism because a decrease in the supply of labor means an incentive to automate and innovate and decrease the need for labor. Imagine not having some loser who doesn't speak English fuck up your order at McDonalds because everything was ordered on a kiosk and cooked by machines. Those who don't innovate or copy the innovators die out.

I imagine you as a very large and obese man (like Boogie1488's long-lost brother) whose fat, sausage-like fingers won't fit through the trigger guard to carry out your violent fantasies against people not taking the virus you live in fear of as seriously as you.

Stop posting on Kiwifarms and start exercising, lose some weight man.

IMO if the mush-moushed pajeet can't get hired anywhere because minimum wage is so high that only the best candidates get their feet in the door, then he'll have all the time in the world to harass women for bobs and vagene & generally start shit, rather than fill someone's gas tank or make some other meagre contribution to the standard of living. The talent that goes into developing the technology to multiply productivity in the fast food industry enough to make the artificially high wages worth paying is diverted from some other endeavour which in a less distorted market would have been more profitable.

Well at least until the economy and the government get so tightly controlled by the same clique that wages can be arbitrarily low and market forces are prevented from correcting them.. but good luck convincing that regime to give you a genuinely better wage.

(Natural News) The Japanese Red Cross now refuses to accept blood donations from people who have received the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

The website of the Japanese Red Cross states that individuals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 “are not allowed to donate blood for the time being.”

The same page warns potential blood donors that they will not be able to give their blood for a certain time after they have received different vaccinations.

Some deferrals prevent blood donations for 24 hours after vaccination, including after getting vaccinated for influenza, cholera and tetanus. Others prevent blood donations for two weeks after vaccination, such as after getting the hepatitis B vaccine.

Not surprising. Regardless of your opinion of vaccines it's obvious Bolsonaro wanted as many of the people of Brazil dead and gone so he can raze the place. I already got the shot a while back. Still, nothing has changed. We technically might be set to get rid of our mask mandate for consumers (not for employees, of course) as soon as the county stops waffling over whether or not to obey the governor, but every building runs on, "Mask or other face covering required in this building. We're a private business. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. No mask, no service." If I say, "I'm already vaccinated," they'll say, "Well, we're still waiting to see what the county thinks, so we're playing it safe for now. You still need to wear a mask." I can't take my business elsewhere because there's nowhere else to go. Every business is like this.

The only exception is the gym. My dad went a few days ago. He was the only one wearing a mask, and he was scared shitless. I might get my membership back up and running once he stops being a stickler about "muh two weeks."

Would picking a fight with some wagie accomplish anything? I kind of feel bad for going off on someone who's just enforcing the store policy, which they have no control over and will lose their job if they don't enforce, and has no doubt faced tons of abuse from Karens angry that their chocolate sundae had too much hot fudge syrup on it. However, it seems like my only option if I can't move out and don't want to work from home for the rest of my life. If I'm gonna get a criminal record and nuke all hope of me ever working again, I want it to mean something.
