Either yesterday or the day before he was saying how Jasper was de-clawed already when Phil chose him at the pound. Someone please correct me if I'm remembering wrong but didn't Phil do that because Jasper Kitty kept playing with his wires like they were toys?

No, the narrative has always been that Jasper was declawed when they got him. I believe Phil also stated that they got him from some shelter in Arkansas.
Phil claimed that nobody wanted Jasper because he had been declawed, but the reality is that declawing is an expensive process, and it's increasingly difficult to find vets willing to do it because it's generally considered animal cruelty. Phil said they got Jasper at about a year old. So why you would pay to declaw a cat and then lose it or turn it over to a shelter is beyond me.

When the details were revealed, a lot of people speculated that Kat wanted a cat and Phil did not. The compromise was that they had to get one that was declawed and they had to scour shelters to find one that was, hence the choice of a cat from across the country, when there is a metropolitan area 20 minutes away that I'm sure has plenty of rescue cats.

So the whole story is true, but the dark nugget of truth in the story is that, despite acknowledging declawing is 'bad', that's what Phil wanted.
This also compounds the mystery of why Jasper needs to be locked in the bedroom at night. With Phil's office door closed and no claws, how much damage could he honestly do? Do they lock him up every time they go out? No wonder he seems to behave like a little shit, his life is hell for a cat.

From what I've gathered from sitting on his streams for the last year in regards to Jasper (someone correct the lore if I'm wrong) the story goes he got Jasper from a rescue/pound and he was already de-clawed. Supposedly he had been there a while because "no body wants a de clawed cat" .....ah no some people with nice furniture would want a D.C cat as messed up as that sounds. What doesn't make any sense is Jasper was fairly young when Phil got him. So if you believe phil, Jaspers original owner spent a bunch of money on a cruel surgery (imagine getting your finger tips amputated to the first knuckle) only to give him away?!? Ah NO that's very sus. What I figure is Phil mentioned Jaspers lack of claws, caught shit about it and made up that the first owner did it. Then there is the 2k paywall he hid him behind....probably to pay off the surgery......just saying.

1) 'Kat' is still there. We know a 'cat' is.
2) Him and kat sleep in the same room if she's still there.
3) He would lock a cat that allegedly attacks him on a regular basis in a room with him.

Facts in evidence:
1) Phail is a liar.
