In my experience, that becomes part of it, but that's more for people who have become peak transed. So many well-meaning people think of trans as Gay Plus. They think it's just an extra step beyond same-sex attraction, and most significantly they believe what they've been told about troons by troons. They uncritically believe that they all knew when they were babies that they were in the wrong bodies, that the only solutions are to get hormones and surgery, that they are in constant psychic agony and will kill themselves immediately if they don't get their way. They believe it when troons say they only want to help people in their situation, that they just want to live their lives without fear or ridicule, and that no one has a harder time of existing in this world than they do.
It's why troons like Rhys are actually very good at peak transing people. Because if you look into his 'work' with anything more than the most superficial eye, you start to see there are problems with his reasoning and issues with how women will be affected by what he demands - no requests or pleas, demands - to be done in the name of fairness. And the more you look, the more you see how the problems in his arguments never get addressed by anyone on his side, how the scientific studies and facts that go against his narrative are ignored, or dismissed for reasons that they lie about, while their own studies are fatally flawed in ways they never address. And if you look at his Twitter feed for any length of time, you don't see a brave warrior fighting for trans rights, you see an aggressive bully, high off his own farts and unqualified for every accomplishment he's achieved.
I recently was talking to a friend of mine about troons, and she was coming from a very empathy-fuelled place of how hard it would be to be in the wrong body, and how as a primary school teacher she had seen a young boy be upset at having to choose when the class was being split between boys and girls. I know I gave her things to think about, but I also know she was coming from a position of compassion and generosity. I didn't want to attack her kindness, but I did want to send her even just one link to her to show how, in different ways, young girls and boys are much more at risk from troons convincing them to permanently mutilate their bodies than young troons are from suffering from gender dysphoria.
Because the real problem with her understanding of the situation is simply that she believes what she's been told, time and time again, about troons and their suffering, their suicides, their motives and their behaviours. She thinks what they say is genuine, and I know that way more often than not they're lying. As I said, she thinks they're just Gay Plus, and hasn't realised that even if they were, the percentage of troons who are all about making their identity about freaking out the normies, the supremacy of being trans over being cis, and are demanding special treatment over just being normal, is the inverse of the percentage of gay people who are like that rather than just wanting to live their lives with their same-sex partners.
Jake's biggest going quiet was psych-mandated, and even then he stayed on Discord the whole time. He claims to not be on Twitter now, even though he regularly comes back to googleshng and spout his usual bullshit, but he's clearly not living on it the way he has been for years. Both he and Rhys are way to big narcissists to kill themselves in any way except by accident, so I 100% agree that Rhys is off somewhere else online, licking his narc wounds and fostering whatever bottom-of-the-barrel community he can. Someone mentioned Amhole Gibes was talking about some depraved troon Discord, and somewhere like that wouldn't surprise me. He also could have a secret personal Twitter we don't know about (yet), because he's finally learned the difference between a personal and professional account.
But remember, he was not only BTFO by the majority of people responding to his appearance on CNN while in the midst of losing a job that should have been, by any ordinary metric, impossible to lose; the one troon who even he couldn't argue against being more a more famous athlete than him, Fallon Fox, called him out and didn't back down. That has to have hurt, and hurt bad, and more than anything else made him realise how far he's fallen in the troon world. An appearance on CNN means shit if he's not being backed up by the peons he's deigned to include in his personal crusade, like other troon athletes. He's going to be avoiding putting himself out there so publicly for a while, I think, because Fallon Fox is a man with more oppression points than him but could also absolutely kick his ass without even trying. As an expert bully, Rhys knows he can't win, so he's slunk away to not have to deal with it.
It's always optimistic to presume a narc has offed themselves, because it's so out of character no matter how bad their narc injury has been. It's possible he has so few people in the real world who care enough about him to notice if he'd physically hurt himself in some way, but it's more likely he's just found somewhere else online to try and soothe his ego while he figures out what lies to tell about his move back home.
