Well technically iirc kiara never said she was going to collab with Vei she just mentioned getting permissions Vshojo and then that she liked Vei afterwards so maybe (assuming this mention of cancellation is true) she just assumed the chat figured it was confirmed because of the way she talked about it but it was really still being discussed with Vei personally

My guess is that kiara thought she could get Vei to agree so she alluded to it being a done deal but then Vei doubled down on her idiocy/cowardice when she got backlash for the notion and then firmly said no

Also can someone help me out? I recently heard that Delutaya talked about the aloe situation and apparently has no bad blood with hololive over it. Can anyone provide receipts of it? I would love for that to be true

It's painfully obvious that even after half a year some people here still don't get what Karen is all about and were expecting that BIG KUSA from Cocos collab.
She's first and foremost a singer and joined Hololive to get traction on her popularity and showcase her music.
If you're wondering why Ina has a different vibe to the others as well is because she's on the same boat. She's a professional artist but saw an opportunity to showcase her skills and make some dough at the same time. They're both exceptional in their fields and that is part of their charm. They're both learning how to become a streamer and the audience finds it endearing even if they're ''different''.

Now some also asked how do people even watch Calli?
It's because popularity breeds popularity, even if she's mega lame sometimes, people stick around and throw her fifties because she's become popular as fuck. And who doesn't wanna 'hang out' with a celebrity? Objectively half the shit she does isn't even funny but 3/4ths of her target audience will laugh like idiots and she knows that. Karen is amazing at milking her deadbeats.
Many of you seemed to have watched Cali for more than 10 minutes for the first time and it shows. Everyone that knew her wasn't at all surprised by this appearance. She isn't a comedian, not even witty most of the times but that doesn't make it terrible. Coco still got freaking 70K viewers.

Kiara and Ame I hold on a whole different standard. These two have to be good streamers or they'll drown. This is why Kiara did the whole ''Ina is late lulz lets guerilla strim this juicy ass opportunity". Can you imagine Calli doing that? No. Meanwhile Ame with the amazing new outfit reveal with mini-games, a date and all that shit. They depend on good streams and they're here to entertain coz they're not good at anything else, ask Kikirikeeki, she failed hard trying.

Calli and Ina? This is just a side-gig.

I can't say that I agree with this; she's good at singing and art. You can argue about whether she's good enough to make a career out of them, but saying she isn't good is flat-out wrong.

This is YouTube. The same company that ghosts 100 million subs creators like Pewdiepie and ignores petitions with millions of signatures, bans SONY Official for using footage of their own games and ignores easily fixable frontend exploits for years to the point where NASA official streams get spammed by bots.

No amount of money can motivate YouTube to improve because there are no people in the system (pajeets don't count). The way they operate is closer to a state apparatus than a company because they don't give a fuck about profit or competition and the only thing they do is comply to whatever US agencies tell them to do.

Kson should stick to Mildom for public streams if safety is a concern. I wonder what her goals are for her YouTube because growing that account is going to lead to the algorithm linking her to Hololive and recommending her channel on other members streams whether she wants to or not.

I think that's seriously downplaying any growth/progress either of the two have achieved. Them vanishing in EN group collabs is a bit understandable - it's a big group and it's a free-for-all conversation-wise. I think they've acquitted themselves real well in one-on-one collabs though - with Watson going IDGAF with the language gap and just collabing with her JP senpais head-on and Gura actually acquitting herself real well in her Dead by Daylight collab with Anya.

Coco's also been on the record saying that she regularly converses with the EN girls offstream so it's not like this is gonna be her first time interacting with them. Just gotta find the right format/set-up. Calli was just an off fit with her meme review given how out of touch she is with meme culture and doesn't really have the comedic chops to pretty much do a manzai routine with Coco.

I don't really watch Kiara's stuff but I really do enjoy the Holotalk series she has going. And that fact that this weeks one is going to have A-Chan I think will be very interesting to see. We don't know all that much really about A-chan and this should give her some moments to shine and show off that English she been really hard at work learning.

Some other side notes to take from this:
- Acquired permissions from THQ Nordic to stream the new Biomutant game that comes out Tuesday, could be good who knows. I wonder if any of the other Holos have gained permissions since she is in Europe now.
- Starting a new TTRPG (Table Top Role Playing Game), hopefully it turns out alright and is a bunch of laughs and they stick with it as a monthly thing or something. Hell it could be hella cringe but I'm being hopeful.
- She really wanting to push to get to 1M, potentially before Ina but as of typing this the Tako is 7K in front so will be an ask to do.
