In theory, liberalism goes against most of the things that the left advocates. They were very close when leftism was about freedom of speech, mostly because the common enemy was fundies. But here is one think I've learned in the past five years or so: whenever given the choice, liberals will always end up playing for the left, even if not by choice. The only thing they like about the right is economic freedom. Talk them about duty or patriotism, and they will flinch. Kids could be mass castrated to troon them and they won't move a finger because "but the economy goes well!".

So, yeah, liberalism is leftism in everything but name. The only ones who disagree are leftists, but because they're so extreme, that liberalism is for them literally nazism.

I really have no sympathy for Shoe for catering to these weirdos in the first place. She made videos a while back validating nonbinaries and other gender specials, so she attracted these types. If it were any other person, I’d feel bad for them for getting attacked over what is a sane opinion on the issue itself, but due to Shoe’s endless grifting, she has created an environment for herself that attracts people like this, but disavowing them entirely would mean she wouldn’t be “one of the cool lefties”, in her viewpoint. This is why anyone shouldn’t take Shoe’s politics seriously, even if you do agree at times, because she’s fully willing to contradict herself if it means having another grift. She’s like the Mitt Romney of wannabe political pundits, a man that no one really likes because he’ll change his position constantly in order to appease his donors.
